COMPLETE NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING IN NYC DEBUT LIVE COVERAGE

Pre-Show Notes:

*There are fans here from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina and Ohio in attendance.

*Itsuki Yamazaki of the legendary Jumping Bomb Angels is in attendance.

*A number of wrestlers are signing for fans who have golden ringside VIP tickets.

Stephen DeAngelis introduced Broadway star Felicia Finley, who sang the American national anthem. Kenny Omega vs. Josh Daniels

The crowd was clapping before they even locked up. They locked up with Omega working on Daniels' arm. Daniels reversed and they went back and forth. Omega grabbed a side headlock and cranked it. Daniels tried to shoot him off into the ropes but he held onto it. Daniels finally broke free and chopped him hard.

Daniels continued chopping away. Omega made a comeback, including hitting a dive to the floor. Back in the ring, Omega whipped Daniels into the corner and hit a leaping back elbow. Omega locked in a rear chinlock, wearing down Daniels. Daniels tried to escape but Omega cinched in an armbreaker.

Omega missed a knee strike and was caught with a leaping clothesline by Daniels. Daniels covered him for a two count. Daniels whipped him hard into the buckles. Daniels continued beating Omega, who mounted a comeback with a series of chops. Daniels and Omega battled back and forth with chops. Daniels won that exchange.

Daniels locked in a nervehold. He continued working over Omega, getting several near falls. Daniels continued assaulting him with chops. Omega came back with a leg lariat. The crowd started chanting for Omega, who nailed several strikes. Daniels tried to cut off Omega who ducked and hit a rebound dropkick to the legs.

Daniels cut him off with a hard running clothesline in the corner and a back suplex for a two count. Omega cut him off and nailed a standing enziguiri. Daniels killed him with a clothesline that sent Omega flipping for a two count. Daniels charged him in the corner but Omega kicked him off and hit a leaping rana.

Omega caught Daniels with a leaping sidekick and a side suplex. Omega charged and nailed a double chop. He dropped Daniels backwards in the Electric Chair and rolled through for the pin in 10 minutes.

Your winner, Kenny Omega!

Really good wrestling match with some strong back and forth strikes and great wrestling.

Jushin Thunder Liger, Tiger Mask & Dan Maff vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Jado & Gedo.

Monster pop for Liger. Jado and Liger started out. Liger nailed a big palm thrust in the corner, then hit a sliding kick to the outside. Tiger Mask and Gedo tagged in. Gedo went for a backdrop but Tiger landed on his feet. Mask went for a sunset flip and nearly got the pin, giving us a full moon on Jado in the process.

Jado went to the outside. Tiger teased a dive but Jado ran away. Nakamura tagged in and faced off with Maff. They locked up and Maff took him down with a side headlock takedown. Nakamura escaped and used a single leg takedown. They exchanged strikes and chops. Nakamura kicked at Maff, who then faked him out, sending him to the floor. Maff hit a dive to the outside.

Back in the ring, Liger tagged in. He avoided a big right but was nailed from behind by Jado. Liger was worked over in the corner. Jado stomped Liger down in the corner. The crowd started chanting for Liger as they continued beating him down. Liger started to make a comeback as Gedo peppered him with punches. He was cut off as Nakamura tagged back in.

Nakamura whipped Liger in the corner but was cut off with a kick. Gedo and Jado hit the ring but Liger nailed a double DDT and tagged in Maff. Maff cleaned house with clotheslines and a big slam. He nailed an Avalanche in the corner on Nakamura followed by a cannonball. Nakamura came back, tagging him with a leaping kick. Maff avoided a charge in the corner but was caught and draped across the top rope and nailing with a punt kick in the gut.

Gedo tagged in but Maff pressed and slammed him. Tiger Mask tagged in, cleaning house and nailed a diving headbutt off the top rope. He went for the pin but Gedo and Nakamura interfered. Maff and Liger attacked them and they brawled arouind the ring.

Meanwhile, Tiger nailed a leaping tombstone and a German suplex for the pin on Jado.

Great six man tag.

IWGP Tag Team Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson vs. Satoshi Kojima & Hideo Saito

Saito and Kojima attacked the champions before the introductions could be completed. They made a quick comeback and nailed Kojima with a ton of double team moves for a series of near falls.

Bernard beat Kojima with a series of forearm smashes but missed a dive into the corner. Saito tagged in and worked over Bernard. Anderson tagged in, as did Kojima. They went back and forth with strikes. Kojima ripped at his face and stomped at him.

Saito and Kojima tagged in and out working over Anderson. Saito locked in a side chinlock. Anderson began elbowing his way out but was forced back into the corner, where they continued their beating in the corner.

Kojima nailed his rapid fire series of chops in the corner on Anderson, then nailed a running forearm smash in the corner. Kojima went to the top and nailed an elbow for a two count. Anderson came back with a big sidewalk slam. Anderson tagged into Bernard who drilled them with a series of shoulderblocks. Kojima kicked him but was caught with a sitdown slam. Saito broke up the pin.

Bernard overcame a double team, killing both with splashes in the corner. Kojima cut him off with a cutter for a two count. Saito clotheslined him but Bernard just slapped him in the face. Saito tried again and was slapped again. Saito finally drilled him a third time and nailed it, covering Bernard for a two count.

Kojima tagged in and continued working on Bernard, including a lowblow. He DDT'd Bernard. Saito came off the top with a diving headbutt for a two count. Bernard battled him way out of a doubleteam. He avalanched Saito in the corner. Anderson nailed a sick dropkick.

The champs went to finish him but Kojima hit the ring and attacked them, nailing a series of strikes on Bernard. They battled him off and Bernard nailed a SICK looking leaping tombstone for the pin on Saito.

Your winners, IWGP Tag Team champions Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson!

Really good and stiff back and forth match. The finisher was SICK.
