The first match tonight is a handicap match with WWE Tag Team champions Rikishi and Scotty Too Hotty defending against Doug & Danny Basham and Shaniqua.
Footage aired on The Bashams laying out Scotty and Rikishi, The Bashams losing the Tag Team championships and Shaniqua taking out Scotty with a massive clothesline on recent episodes of Smackdown. Tazz put over how hard Shaniqua nailed Scotty but said the champions need to keep Shaniqua in the ring to keep an advantage.
They started with Danny and Scotty in the ring with Danny working over Scotty and tossing him over the ropes. Scotty skinned the cat and pulled himself over the ropes and unloaded with a series of chops. Scotty hit a tilt-a-whirl head scissors, dropping Danny on his head. Doug tagged in but Rikishi took advantage. Doug unloaded on Rikishi but he was too powerful. Rikishi tossed Shaniqua in the ring and went for the Stinkface but Doug attacked him. Scotty tagged in and he and Doug both clotheslined each other and were out.
Scotty was the first to get up and went for the worm. As he hopped around the ring, Shaniqua ran down the ring and clotheslined him. The Bashams hit a double slingshot suplex. Tully Blanchard would be proud. They got a two count. Shaniqua asked to be tagged in and began striking him in the ribs. She hit a bodyslam on Scotty as Tazz and Cole talked about her power. Tazz said he doesn't think Pepper Gomez ever wrestled anyone like Shaniqua.
Scotty tried to make a tag but Doug cut him off and The Bashams continued the assault. Scotty nearly made it to Rikishi again but was pulled back and Doug blasted him from behind. Doug went for a sleeper but Scotty dropped down into a jawbreaker. Shaniqua tagged in and went for a powerbomb, but Scotty flipped her over with a backdrop.
Rikishi tagged in and hit a DDT on Danny. Shaniqua jumped on Rikishi's back but he snapmared her over his shoulders to the mat. Rikishi and Scotty dragged Shaniqua to the corner to set her up for the Bansai Drop but the Bashams pulled her out of the way and laid out Scotty. Rikishi missed and Shaniqua made the cover for a two count. Rikishi made his way up to his feet. Shaniqua went for a clothesline but Rikishi caught her and hit a Samoan Drop. Rikishi hit a Bansai Drop (Tazz: "Squished Amazon!") and scored the pin.
