I attended the SmackDown house show in Sydney, Australia tonight (31-07) and just thought I’d send along some results. My memory is a tad patchy so the matches may be out of order or have less detail than others. Anyway, to the results:
- Hart Dynasty beat Straight Edge Society (Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury). There was an awesome spot where Natalya slammed Joey Mercury on the ringside mats. Kane came out at the end and chokeslammed Joey Mercury and Tyson Kidd.
- Alberto del Rio beat Chavo Guerrero with some sort of armbar variation.
- Layla beat Kelly Kelly.
- MVP beat Cody Rhodes.
- Big Show beat Drew McIintyre. Prior to the match McIntyre cut a promo where he insulted Australia’s convict heritage. This drew a fair bit of heat for himself.
- Dolph Ziggler (sans Vickie Guerrero) beat Kofi Kingston. Interesting point here was that Dolph Ziggler was the I.C. champion. Did I miss something? I thought that Kofi was the champ.

Smackdown, which hasn't aired yet in the U.S. or Australia)
- Matt Hardy beat Christian.
- Kane beat Rey Mysterio and Jack Swagger in a triple threat match.
Overall, it was an awesome show. Acer Arena was approximately 85% full last night.
