Mick talks about tonight’s show will focus on one of the top wrestlers in the business. Tonight we will see three matches from Kurt Angle. We will see Angle’s matches against Jeff Jarrett, A.J. Styles, and Samoa Joe.
Angle says that Samoa Joe is the most dominant wrestler in TNA and he was looking forward to facing an undefeated Joe in his first match. Angle says that this match was the proof that he was the best. Joe talks about how Angle took care of the king of the jungle.
Match Number One: Samoa Joe versus Kurt Angle at Genesis 2006
They lock up and Angle backs Joe into the turnbuckles as the ‘This is Awesome’ chants have already started. Angle with a single leg take down and Joe gets to the ropes. Joe takes Angle down with a punch and then he connects with more punches followed by a head butt and then he kicks Angle on the mat. Joe with more punches to Angle but Angle with kicks and an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Angle clotheslines Joe over the top rope to the floor but Joe pulls Angle out and he sends Angle into the guardrail. Joe gets a near fall as they return to the ring.
Angle with European uppercuts to Joe followed by an Irish whip but Joe moves out of the way when Angle charges into the corner and Angle hits the ring post with his shoulder. Joe with a tope suicida as we go to commercial.
We are back and Angle circles Joe and he waits for the Olympic Slam but Joe with an arm drag and then he hits the running knee and hits the enzuigiri. Joe tries for the musclebuster and he hits it. Joe can only get a two count on Angle. Angle with an arm drag to avoids the choke. Angle with a kick and he hits the Olympic Slam but he can only get a two count. The straps are down and Angle puts Joe in the ankle lock. Joe fights to escape the hold and he counters with the Choke. Angle counters with the ankle lock again and then Joe counters and sends Angle into the turnbuckles. Angle moves when Joe charges and then Angle hits the Olympic slam again. The straps go up and then they go down again. Angle returns to the ankle lock and he grapevines the leg. Joe reaches for the ropes and Angle pulls Joe into the center of the ring and Joe taps.
Winner: Kurt Angle

We are back with Angle and A.J. talking about their Last Man Standing Match at Hard Justice 2008. They talk about how great they felt the match was and Angle talks about how much respect he has for A.J.
Match Number Two: Kurt Angle versus A.J. Styles from Hardy Justice 2008
The match starts with Angle going to the floor and Styles goes after him. Angle hits Styles in the back as A.J. returns to the ring and then Angle with a European uppercut. Angle punches Styles. Angle kicks Styles and then he hits a suplex and gets a near fall. Angle with a reverse chin lock. Styles punches and kicks Angle in the corner and chokes him. Angle with a rake of the eyes followed by a European uppercut. Styles with a Phenomenal drop kick and then he clotheslines Angle over the top rope and then A.J. hits the flip plancha onto Angle and then he gets a near fall.
Styles sends Angle’s head into the apron and then he punches Angle before sending him into the guardrails. Styles with a kick to the chest and then they return to the ring. Styles with a slam to Angle and then it is time for the phenomenal knee drop. Angle sends Styles to the floor. Angle sends Styles to the guardrails but Styles jumps over them. Styles tries for a springboard DDT but Angle holds on and hits a suplex into the guardrails and he gets a near fall. Angle slams Styles’ head into the ring steps. Styles punches Angle as the battle continues on the floor. Angle walks towards the back but Styles follows and he punches Angle. Angle with a kick and then he tries for a suplex on the ramp but Styles blocks it and hits a suplex of his own and gets a two count. Styles with punches to Angle but Angle with a belly-to-back throw from the stage and then Angle with a flip plancha onto Styles as we go to commercial.
We are back and Styles goes up top but Angle climbs the buckles but Styles knocks him off. Styles comes off the turnbuckles but Angle catches him and gets a near fall. Angle tries for a Styles Clash but A.J. counters with an ankle lock. Angle tries to get to the ropes but Styles pulls Angle into the center of the ring and grapevines the leg. Angle taps to save himself. Angle gets to his feet before the ten count. Styles with a punch but Angle with a low blow when he moves out of the way for the springboard moonsault. Angle limps and hits four rolling German suplexes and gets a two count. The straps go down and he waits for A.J. to get to his feet for the Olympic slam. Styles counters and he hits the Pele kick and both men are down. Styles gets a two count. Styles goes to the turnbuckles and Angle tries to hit a German suplex but Styles with elbows. Styles tries for a moonsault but he takes too long and Angle hits a German superplex for the three count. The referee starts the ten count.
Styles gets to his feet and Angle hits the Olympic Slam and gets another three count as the referee starts his count again. A.J. gets to his feet again and Angle tries for the Olympic Slam but A.J. rolls through and hits the Styles Clash for a three count. The referee starts his count. Angle gets to his feet and then Styles puts Angle on the turnbuckles and then Angle thinks about a belly-to-belly suplex onto the floor but Styles counters with a super DDT and both men are down. Styles gets to his feet but Angle cannot.
Winner: A.J. Styles

Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle - No DQ
They brawled center ring at the bell. Jarrett ran Angle into the turnbuckles, then whipped him hard into the opposite corner. Angle tried to cinch a sleeper in on Jarrett, who low blowed him. Jarrett hit a running clothesline over the top to the floor.
Backstage, they showed Rhino somewhere in the building, beaten throwing trash cans around backstage.
Jarrett ran Angle face-first into the guardrail on the floor, then did it again. Jarrett grabbed a beer and tossed it in Angle's face. Angle nailed Jarrett, sending him into the railing, then slammed his head into the side of the steel steps leading to the ring. The crowd began doing dueling chants for both men. It's been a solid brawl so far.
Angle hit a suplex in the ring for a two count. Angle controlled the bout for a bit, cinching in a side chinlock on the mat. Jarrett backdropped Angle over the top. Jarrett then tried to do a dive and in a scary moment that reminded me of JT Smith in 1995, fell to the floor in frightening fashion when his foot caught the top rope. He's really, really lucky. Angle slammed Jarrett into the table, then smashed Jarrett in the face with the timekeeper's bell. Jarrett was busted open. They brawled up the ring ramp and a bloody Jeff DDT'd Angle on the ramp.
They brawled to the entranceway. Jarrett smashed Angle's face into the scaffolding. Now Angle was busted open. They brawled to the left side of the stage. Jeff kept trying to punch Angle off, but missed a punch and Angle hit the Angleslam off the stage through a table they had made up to look like "one of the pyro boards" according to the announcers. The place went nuts for it.
Both men slowly recovered and made their way to the ring. Angle made his way to the ring first with Jarrett slowly crawling down the aisle. They returned to the ring with Jeff refusing to say die fighting to his feet again and again as Angle nailed shots. Jarrett began using the ropes for momentum to fight back. Angle kicked Jeff who responded with several clotheslines and a double underhook DDT for a two count.
Jarrett went for the Stroke but Angle countered into the Anklelock. Jarrett fought his way to the ropes but as he reached out for them, Angle pulled him to the center of the ring. Jarrett rolled through, sending Angle out to the floor. Angle, furious, grabbed a chair at ringside. He swung at Jeff, who ducked, then dropkicked the chair into Angle's face. Jarrett nailed the Stroke for a two count. Really well constructed match.
Jarrett attempted a suplerplex but was shoved off by Angle. Angle hits a glancing missile dropkick, then an Angle Slam. Jarrett got his shoulder up at the two count. Jarrett kicked off an anklelock attempt. Angle charged but Jarrett evaded him and Angle hit his shoulder on the ringpost.
Jarrett grabbed the guitar. He went for the El Kabong but Angle kicked him low. Angle grabbed the guitar and the chair, as if he was deciding which to use. He chose the chair and drilled Jarrett in the back of the head with it. Jarrett kicked up at two. Angle lost it and began grabbing and screaming at the referee.
Jarrett fought his way over to the guitar, but Angle saw it and cinched in the anklelock. Jarrett teased tapping but refused. He finally rolled through, catching Angle in a front roll-up for a two count. Angle went for an Angle Slam but Jarrett turned it into a DDT.
Jarrett grabbed the guitar, which fell apart in his hands. Ooopps! He grabbed the chair and smashed Angle with it. After Angle went down, Jarrett collapsed to the mat grabbing his ankle. He crawled over for the cover but Angle got his shoulder up at two, then grabbed Jeff and pinned him to the mat in a surprising end with a rollup.
