RING OF HONOR ON HDNET TV REPORT

By Sean Ryan on 2009-10-30 10:24:08
ROH on HDNet Report for October 26, 2009

We begin with a look back at last week’s episode of Ring of Honor on HDNet where Jerry Lynn took a devastating spike piledriver from Kenny King with the help of Rhett Titus. Lynn was carried to the back by medical staff and officials.

We are live to tape from The Arena in Philadelphia, PA and your announcers are Mike Hodgewood and Dave Prazak.

ROH World Champion Austin Aries and Kenny King make their way to the ring. Aries has a microphone. Aries reminds the crowd of last week’s self-proclaimed epic match against Bryan Danielson. Despite beating Danielson, Aries claims that this does not make him the new best wrestler in the world. Instead, it further proves that he is the greatest man who ever lived. Greatness cannot be taken away, and greatness can also be found in Kenny King. King says that he put Jerry Lynn out to pasture like he was Old Yeller. The “unretireable” Lynn is nowhere to be found. Now everyone wants to be the king, but there’s only one Kenny King. Tyler Black’s music hits and he makes his way down the entrance ramp with a mic. Black says the locker room does look at King. They look at him in disgust. Black decides to take a page out of Aries’ book. Tonight, he’s going to have an “Everyone Wants To Kick Kenny King’s Ass” lottery to find King an opponent. Black has a hat, and he has a name. Black pulls out Eddie Kingston’s name. King is not happy.

Mike Hodgewood points out that Kingston is in the enviable position of fighting one of the most unpopular people in The Arena, Kenny King. Hodgewood says that they have another big announcement. Dave Prazak announces that at Glory By Honor VIII, Jim Cornette debuted as the new executive producer of ROH on HDNet. He will appear in the coming weeks.
