By Michael Spears on 2009-09-04 17:10:53

Dark Match:

Wes Brisco & Jamie Noble defeated Donny Marlow and the other Pacific Islander on the FCW roster.

Episode 51:

Eric Escobar pinned Espiral.

Eli Cottonwood squashed Max MaGuirk.

The Abraham Washington Show saw Tyler Reks awarded a title shot against Heath Slater and ended up with Reks getting chokeslammed by Cottonwood outside the ring.

Troy Jackman & Fletcher Chase defeated Johnny Prime & Fred Rosser

Joe Hennig (replacing an injured Tyler Reks) defeated FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion Heath Slater and was announced as the new champion until General Manager Abraham Washington told Joe the match was not a title match and Slater was still the champion.

Episode 52:

Fletcher Chase & Troy Jackman defeated FCW Florida Tag Team Champions Duke & Bo Rotundo in a non-title match.

Serena Mancini defeated Angela to become the Queen of FCW with April Lee, Courtney Taylor, Jenny Cash, Liviana, Rosa Mendes, Alicia Fox and Trinity McCray at ringside.

Justin Angel, Bret DiBiase and Dawson Alexander defeated Christoph Hertzog, Vance Archer and Dylan Klein.

Joe Hennig pinned Tyler Reks to become the number one contender for the FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion.

Episode 53:

Johnny Curtis pinned Curt Hawkins.

Bo Rotundo defeated Fletcher Chase.

Serena Mancini pinned April Lee.

Eric Escobar & Eli Cottonwood beat Alberto Banderas & Espiral when Cottonwood pinned Banderas.

Alex Riley pinned Gabriel in a lumberjack match after interference from Curt Hawkins.  Other lumberjacks were Caylen Croft, Trent Beretta, Dylan Klein, Vance Archer, Donny Marlow, the other Pacific Islander, Aiden Frost, Brett DiBiase, Kris Logan, Wes Brisco, Max McGuirk, Johnny Prime, Bo Rotundo, Duke Rotundo, and Dawson Alexander.

Notes:

- The crowd at this 3 hour taping was dead for most of the night.  Having Fletcher Chase wrestle three times has to be partly to blame.

- The lumberjack match at the end was easily the highlight of the nigh, especially as far as getting the crowd into the action.

- No Sheamus, Tyson Kidd, Drew McIntyre, Sweet Papi Sanchez or Yoshi Tatsu and having Kris Logan, Trent Beretta and Caylen Croft only in the lumberjack match meant the best FCW “regulars” did not wrestle.

- Jamie Noble was a pleasant surprise and made his opponents look really good.

- Santino Marella was announced as appearing at the 11 September show in Punta Gorda.
