Abyss was interviewed by Greater Manchester City Life to promote the upcoming TNA tour overseas at this link. He noted his biggest influences were Mick Foley and Roddy Piper. When he was asked if he'd like to work with Foley, Abyss commented, "would love to do it, I’m sure down the road it’s on the cards somewhere, I know I’d be super honoured and super excited about doing it for sure. Working with him after everything he’s accomplished, would be an honour. And I think people want to see it, I think Abyss and Mick Foley is something that people would be interested to see just how crazy it would get." He said his favorite match was himself against AJ Styles at the first Lockdown PPV.
