Jeff Hardy did a great promo to open the show. It's worth watching Smackdown just to see it.
Hardy then beat Chris Jericho in a really good match.
Michelle McCool announced that she will defend the WWE Women's Title against Melina on Sunday. Melina then shot her in the face with hairspray. Oh wait, that was Monday. Melina attacked McCool with powder.
The Great Khali beat Mike Knox. Can you get what happened next? Yes, Kane came down. He didn't actually lock up though. You know, heels are afraid of faces.
Dolph Ziggler beat Finlay. He is ready for Rey on Sunday!
CM Punk did a promo when Jeff Hardy came out and the two went back and forth. It was another good bit of mic work.
Eve, with Cryme Tyme, beat defeated Natalya, with The Hart Dynasty. Yes, that is what really happened.
R-Truth beat Charlie Haas.
WWE continued their recent trend of the champ losing right before the PPV as Rey Mysterio beat CM Punk. At least this time it was because Ziggler interfered. Of course, this brought out Hardy to end the show. It was a real good night.
