Here are the latest buyrate estimates for recent WWE PPVs.
WrestleMania ~970,000 buys.
Backlash ~185,000 buys.
Judgment Day ~235,000 buys.
Unfortunately, it should be noted that for all three shows the numbers are lower than their counterparts in 2007 and 2008. It is part of the reason that "fixing" the PPV business is so important to the company. As we have mentioned before, the numbers don't even tell the whole story as they are bolstered by new markets that WWE has entered. That means that the domestic buyrates (which pay the largest percentage per buy to the company) are down farther than the overall numbers indicate.
