Like most that watch it, I have been enjoying ECW for a while now, but with such a small roster I can see it becoming a bit stale. You also have two solid Divas in Natalya and Katie Lea have no one to work against. Do you think that the Smackdown /ECW talent swap should be brought back? It would be more of allowing underused Smackdown talent (like Jesse and J. Wang Yang) the ability to appear on ECW, rather than ECW talent on Smackdown. Plus, I would like to see a little Cryme Tyme & Gail Kim vs. the Hart Trilogy feud.
Right now, no I don't think that they should do that. I like the pacing ECW has. In the future, if things get stale then it would be a good idea to interject new talent, and they will. ECW is being used as the first step for guys coming up from FCW and it will continue to be used in that way. As guys come up, others can move on to Raw and Smackdown. I think that if they keep to their current way of using the brand, they will be fine.
What exactly is Finlay's shillelagh made of? The shots he gives with it look so brutal, I have trouble believing it's made out of wood.
I don't know for sure what it's made of (my guess is rubber) but rest assured, it's not something that hurts as much as it appears it does. Finlay is just really good at making it look like he is wailing people when he uses it.
Remember the "GTV" segments from RAW years ago? Was there ever a back story to those? Was there ever a plan to reveal who was behind GTV?
Yes, the plan was to eventually have Goldust be the person behind the camera but the storyline was scrapped before it even came to fruition. Basically, since Goldust was a "freak" he was doing the freaky deaky by taping people via a hidden camera.
How does justify a TV-PG rating for the younger audience when kids can do a Google search for Divas appearing nude in Playboy (not that I'm complaining). It just seems like backwards logic to me.
They look at it like this, they are going forward from this point on and what is in the past is in the past. That is why they didn't have a diva in Playboy this year.
In your opinion, if Brock Lesnar had stayed with WWE do you think he eventually would have been a huge star akin to Steve Austin or Hulk Hogan, and do you think the WWE could have made him into a bigger star than he currently is with UFC? It seems to me that we never got to see Lesnar’s full potential in Professional Wrestling.
I think Brock would have been a headliner, for sure. I don't think he would have been quite a Hogan or Austin, but he definitely would have been over someone like Randy Orton. He could have been on the Edge level had he stayed around and had the proper attitude. And I agree with you, we didn't see his full potential because he quit on the business before he could reach it.
