I saw JR mentioning on his "BBQ blog" that CM Punk wasn't really liked in the SD locker room. From what I understand (and I can be wrong) it is a legit statement. If that is the case do you know what's going on with Punk back stage? Is CM really a punk back stage (that would really disappoint me) or is all this stuff just kayfabe and JR got me?
Ross is taking a kernel of truth and playing into the WWE storylines. Punk has a reputation for being a really blunt, straightforward person, as opposed to being a political person who will tell people something lightly. So, that can and has rubbed some people the wrong way. It's not as if he's walking around with a chip on his shoulder, it's just that he is who he is and he carries that openly. I don't think it's led to any legitimate dislike towards him as much as it's off-putting to some.
WEEK#2- He is not in the fatal four way match for the belt and later on does nothing in the battle royal.
WEEK#3- He doesnt even make it to the show.
To me, it looks like WWE is missing boat with yet another potential main eventer. What's up with that?
It's just a case of WWE deciding not to push him as hard yet. They have their current main eventers in the mix and while MVP has shown a lot of promise since being moved to Raw, they've opted not to pull the big trigger yet. I haven't heard of any reason as to why other than "it's not time yet."
Perhaps this question has been asked already, but I'm wondering why they gave Batista the WWE Championship win over Randy Orton if they knew he was injured beforehand and would be gone for a while, then have Legacy attack him the next night on Raw and "put him out", only to turn around and put the title right back on Orton ? Why not just have Orton retain, or have Legacy attack him at the PPV and "injure" him there ? Was it just so they could say Orton was a 3 time champ instead of 2 ?
I was told it was just a case of WWE feeling that Batista getting the win and the title, only to have it taken all away again would make Batista a more sympathetic figure when he returns from his surgery in the Fall, likely Survivor Series.
I'm curious about something. Who was talking to both commentators Michael Cole and Jerry "The King' Lawler through their headsets on Raw Monday night? Vince McMahon or Donald Trump?
McMahon. Trump only worked Raw as a performer.
I haven't seen TNA Knockout Sojournor Bolt on TV lately. What's the latest on her?
She's still under contract but just hasn't been used.
