WWE INTEREST IN TNA STAR WITH EXPIRING CONTRACT, MICK FOLEY COMMENTS ON FANS EXPECTING HIM TO BURY WWE IN NEW BOOK, TNA IN MICHIGAN TONIGHT & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2009-06-19 10:55:01
Sheik Abdul Bashir's TNA deal is said to expire sometime this summer.  I've heard from WWE sources there is some interest in the former Daivari, so we'll see where he ends up.

Mick Foley noted on his official Myspace that he's earmarked 50% of the latest memoir he is writing to go to charity.  In regard to fans expecting him to skewer his former home at WWE, Foley wrote, "I don't want to kill any enthusiasm for the new book, but those looking for me to blast WWE will likely be disappointed. My feelings for the company, and for Vince himself, are largely positive, even if I am very happy not to be there anymore."

Speaking of Foley, he's been praising California indy valet Trina Michaels (yes, the same one) publicly and has been slipping in references to her in recent promos.  That should spark some rumors about Michaels and TNA.

TNA will run a house show in Grand Rapids, Michigan tonight with the following lineup announced:
*Kurt Angle & Scott Steiner vs. Beer Money, Inc.
*Rhino vs. Matt Morgan
*TNA X Division champion Suicide vs. Alex Shelley
*TNA Knockouts champion Angelina Love vs. Taylor Wilde
*Daniels vs. Eric Young
*Jay Lethal vs. Chris Sabin

We are seeking live reports from the show.
