The "Donald Trump buys Raw" story has gotten a ton of media attention, which is exactly why WWE is doing it. The funny thing is I have seen some usually credible outlets that are "reporting" the story as if Trump really did purchase the show. Jeez, journalistic integrity ain't what it used to be.
Speaking of people falling for the Trump story, Matthew Rosenthal sent this. ... This morning on the News segment with Robin Quivers on the Howard Stern show, Robin opened with the story of Trump buying RAW. For a few minutes, Robin spoke as if Trump legitimately bought RAW before Howard questioned it, and a staffer finally added that it was just a storyline.
The 6/13 edition of AM Raw did a 0.9 rating.
The 6/13 TNA Impact replay did a 0.2 rating.
From the "Where Are They Now" file, Andrew Davis sent this. ... There was a bike rally called the Bakersfield (CA) Thunder Run that Chuck Palumbo was scheduled to be at with his custom bikes from CP Kustoms last weekend. Chuck appeared and also had a surprise with him, Chavo Guerrero Jr. Chavo hung out with Chuck in his booth all day. The bike Chuck had on display is the bike he had just built for Chavo, and he has also recently built bikes for Rey Mysterio, Batista, and a few others but I can't remember the names right now.
For the week ending June 8, USA won the prime time cable ratings battle in the top categories of Total Viewers (averaging 3.35 million to second place TNT's 2.24) Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-34.
