PWINSIDER Q&A: RIC FLAIR TURNING HEEL, ULTIMATE WARRIOR, HOGAN VS. ANDRE AND MORE

By Buck Woodward on 2009-06-12 10:00:00

What do you think the chances are of Ric Flair turning heel and siding with Randy Orton and Legacy? It seems as if they are setting up some friction with him and Batista, and Flair being "the dirtiest player in the game" could swerve everyone and help Orton at Extreme Rules.

I don't see WWE going down that path, especially after spending so much time establishing Orton as the "Legend Killer" and someone who isn't going to follow anyone but himself.

I'm a huge die hard #1 Ultimate Warrior fan, Always have been, Always will be.  Do you know or think Ultimate Warrior will return to the WWE?  Could it be possible for Warrior to return this year, 2009?  If so, When do you think he will?

The Magic 8-Ball says "highly doubtful" for 2009.  Honestly, unless WWE is desperate for a Hall Of Fame headliner, and Warrior is desperate for a payday, I don't see Warrior returning to WWE.

I read where TNA had signed former WWE ladies wrestling champion Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon) to a contract. Do you see her re-teaming with Steven Richards again? Will she be able to call herself Victoria or does WWE own the rights to the name?

I don't think TNA has any plans to put Victoria and Stevie Richards together at this point, but once their current storylines are over, you never know.  As for the Victoria name, WWE owns it, so she is using the name "Tara" in TNA.

When Hogan had his match with Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania 3, was that there first match against each other and was that the first time that Hogan slammed Andre?

No, they wrestled each other numerous times in several territories as well as in WWF before that match.  Hogan did slam Andre prior to that match as well.

Is it just me or is the kick to head becoming too commonplace in wrestling matches? It started out as a so called dangerous move from Randy BOrton to a move any wrestler can use.

I don't know if it is too commonplace.  While a lot of wrestlers do kicks (and always have), only Orton's has been pushed as being devastating, and still is.  If other wrestlers did the "punt" style kick, then I would say it is too much.
