DETAILS ON MICK FOLEY'S FOURTH AUTOBIOGRAPHY

By Mike Johnson on 2009-06-10 14:23:20

Yes, fourth.

In his most recent Myspace.com blog entry, Mick Foley noted that his fourth memoir will be published in the winter/spring of 2010, titled "Crossing the Line". The title is obviously a nod to his departure from WWE and entrance into TNA.

Grand Central Publishing, which handled Chris Jericho's first autobiography (and will also publish his second), will be publishing Foley's book. It will be the first Foley autobiography outside of Simon & Shuster, who have a licensing agreement with WWE for books.

In the blog, Foley also looks back on his third memoir, the WWE-release "Hardcore Diaries", which delved into Foley's take on the WWE creative process from the ECW One Night Stand 2006 build for Foley & Edge vs. Tommy Dreamer & Terry Funk.

In looking back at the book, Foley wrote, "...I flipped through "Tha Hardcore Diaries" for the first time in a while, and could finally see why so many people within WWE were rumored to be less than thrilled with me after the book's publication. I was really pretty rough on the company, and three years after writing it, I'm shocked that the powers that be (mainly Vince) allowed so many negative musings to be published. Don't get me wrong, I don't personally regret writing any of it, but I am really surprised that the book wasn't edited down to matchbook size."
