Is there any chance whatsoever that the entire Hogan/Linda thing, is a work? I hope its not but after seeing the latest episode of the Brooke Hogan reality show, for some reason it just feels like a work.
If it's a work, it's costing them a hell of a lot of money to pull it off. My feeling is it's legitimate. I can certainly see why you would wonder given that the VH-1 cameras had scenes with Linda Hogan talking to her friend and Linda at home talking to her boyfriend Charlie while Brooke was nowhere in sight, so it certainly came off like a staged scene.
In a somewhat dated interview, former WWE diva Victoria (now with TNA) said that she talked with people at TNA, and mentioned Bruce Pritchard working "behind the scenes". My question is, is Bruce Pritchard indeed with TNA and if so what lead to him leaving the WWE? If true, I find it weird that its being kept so quiet. I can't believe Vince would just let him leave and go to TNA like that. It's not acknowledged on his Wikipedia page or anything either. I can't find any information about it except for that one interview.
It wasn't an interview. She mentioned it in a blog and quickly changed the wording when people picked up on it. Prichard is still under a WWE deal until the Fall but many have expected he will end up in TNA when it's done. Until then, he's working with JBL on side projects.
I recently watched an Ultimate Warrior shoot interview and realized PWInsider's own, Mike Johnson was the one asking the questions! Awesome interview by the way. Just a few questions about it. What was it like dealing with Warrior? Is he as eccentric off camera as other wrestlers have said? Also who funded the interview as I would have to think Warrior wanted a huge amount to do it? I read that only 50 copies of it were ever put on sale. Why such a small amount? All things said, Mike did an awesome job and I really enjoyed that shoot.
Thanks for the kind words. The DVD was put out by www.ringsidecollectibles.com and was limited to 500 copies per an agreement with Warrior as each copy was signed. Warrior was completely friendly in a professional way off camera but when it came to being interviewed, as you probably saw, didn't particularly enjoy the line of questioning in my opinion. I wouldn't say he came off eccentric, but it was obvious to me when we recorded that he was really tired as he had just flown in from Phoenix and it had been a long day for him. I've had no dealings with Warrior since.
I hate to think I can be smarter than uncreative creative, but with Batista injured would this not be a fine time for a tournament. Batista comes out Monday night and surrendss the title. Vicki declares a tournament to conclude at the next pay per view. This allows Orton, Cody, DiBiase, MVP, Matt Hardy, Kofi, Regal, etc. a chance. Leave HHH home and let the tournament begin. Your thoughts?
It's an interesting idea, but as you saw last night on Raw, Triple H is back and so far, there is no tournament.
How awesome is this Jericho/Mysterio fued? It's very obvious that there are a lot of nods to previous WCW Cruiserweight fueds circa 1998 (Jericho taking Rey's mask last night/Jericho taking his mask at Souled Out 1998; Jericho's sneak attack 2 weeks ago/Malenko's sneak attack as Cyclope at Slamboree 1998; etc). My questions regarding this are: do you have any idea who is responsible for this great writing? How much input Jericho and Mysterio have had thus far?
I am told that a lot of the ideas are coming from Jericho and Mysterio themselves, then tweaked by WWE's creative team. It's been tremendous to follow.
