I've heard it said that Paul Burchill is quite the high flyer for his size. Is this true? Why wont WWE let him fly, especially while fighting Evan Bourne? Do you know of any videos online of Paul busting out some flying maneuvers?
I know Burchill used to do more aerial work during his time wrestling in Great Britain on the independents, but he's changed his style since being signed by WWE. I don't know offhand of any videos but I'm sure a search of Youtube.com might be of assistance.
With the success of The Wrestler, what do think of the WWE doing a DVD on the legacy of Lex Luger? I know they did that piece on him after Ms. Elizabeth's death, but with his health problems now, his drug addicted past and the fact that he was brought in for interviews about the movie and the they used his body for showing Randy the Ram early in his career. To me it makes sense, allows WWE to put a spin on the negative aspects of wrestling's past and for Lex to make amends for his mistakes.
That's a really interesting question. My guess is that WWE wouldn't be interested in doing anything for or about Luger until they have exhausted a lot of other current and former names. There is longstanding resentment over how Luger jumped to WCW for the first episode of Monday Nitro, pretty much setting the stage for the Monday Night Wars. I do believe there is a really interesting story to tell when it comes to Luger. I just don't see WWE wanting to do it.
What is the story behind Edge's first 3 week title run, I mean in the end it was all well and good and now he is a main eventer, but why did they only give him it for 3 weeks?
WWE wanted the title on John Cena leading into Wrestlemania, which at the time I thought was completely insane as there was obviously something special there with Edge's first run. As you wrote, in the end, it worked out for Edge, but going into 2006's Wrestlemania, I was amazed at WWE blowing it with him as it was obvious they had something really unique there with Cena and Ric Flair both chasing him and Triple H on the horizon.
2 Cold Scorpio seemed like a can't-miss prospect. From his early team with Marcus Bagwell in WCW that didn't go far admittedly, but was entertaining. To his great work in ECW, and his WWE "Flash Funk" phase, to seemingly having dropped off the radar completely, except for lucky European, Japanese and (I think) some lucky American independent fans. Why didn't 2 Cold Scorpio ever click in the WCW or the WWE?
As far as Scorpio's first WWF run, he ended up in trouble when police were called to the WWF's Mania hotel in Chicago in 1997 over an incident between Scorpio and his then-wife, which was the beginning of the end there. In WCW, politics obviously played an issue there. As for why he was never used in his second WWE stint, I couldn't even begin to tell you. That one boggles my mind.
When Roxxi (Nikki Roxx) was released by TNA is she automatically under a 90 day no compete clause similar to WWE's preventing her from working anywhere else until it expires? Does TNA have such a stipulation?
I don't believe she has such a stipulation.
