WWE BEATS OUT POPULAR NAMES ON MAJOR LIST, THE CHRISTIAN-EDGE STAREDOWN YOU DIDN'T SEE ON PPV LAST NIGHT AND MORE

By Buck Woodward on 2009-04-27 13:23:50

Global License Magazine named WWE as number 37 on their list of the top 100 licensors.  Disney topped the list, but WWE beat out Playboy, Universal Studios and Coca-Cola amongst others on the list.  Mattel Brands, which will have the rights to WWE toys in January 2010, came in at number 13.

John Crowe has posted a blog about his live experience at Backlash last night, along with some pictures he took at the show, including a great shot of Christian and Edge staring at each other at the conclusion of the Edge-John Cena match.  Click here to check it out.

The advertised dark match for tomorrow's Smackdown/ECW taping at Madison Square Garden is John Cena, Triple H & Jeff Hardy vs. Edge, Randy Orton & Matt Hardy.  I would be a little surprised to see that match happen, after both Triple H and John Cena did stretcher jobs last night.  Also, after the European tour and PPV, it seems strange to keep the Raw guys on the road for an extra night to do a dark match.  Then again, it is the Garden, so we'll have to wait and see.
