Not sure if you guys ever considered this, but have you thought about creating a "FAQ" section for questions that seem to get asked repeatedly so that you don't have to respond to and post them on the two sites time and time again (i.e. "What's the deal between Savage and Vince?", "What's the deal between Bruno Sammartino and the WWE", "Why isn't Savage in the Hall of Fame", "Will the Ultimate Warrior ever return to the WWE?", "Will we ever see Austin/Hogan?", "Will The Rock ever wrestle again?", "What's the deal between The Rock and Cena?", "Why can't the WWE acquire the rights that will allow them to release attitude era footage without all those annoying blurred out WWF scratch logos?", "What would happen if the scripted winner of the Royal Rumble accidentally got eliminated?") And so forth. Anyway, just a suggestion. Keep up the great work!
Honestly, the amount of work that would go into putting that together and maintaining it just doesn't make sense given how little manpower we have. We have pretty full days at work as it is and we would rather focus on going forward that archiving the past.
What has happened to Goldust? I haven't seen him lately with the WWF/E. Is he still with them or did he get fired?
He's still around, he just isn't being used very much.
TNA has achieved much in its few years of business. But what I want to know is how long does WWE have before we get a scenario similar to that of 'The Monday Night Wars', and how will WWE's PG rating affect it when TNA is TV-14 and can attract a much older audience and take advantage of 'perks'; like the Playboy contract and the use of violent matches?
I see WWE having at very least a year before they have to worry about that. To me, TNA would have to get to the point where they are doing at least a 2.5 cable rating every week before they could even think of challenging WWE head on. I think they are handling their business very smartly, slowly building their base so that they have a solid platform underneath them going forward. If the time ever comes, I think TNA will have a distinct advantage if WWE does not change their rating, and product, back to TV-14. I think Vince McMahon knows that too, hence his comments to The Hollywood Reporter last week.
What are your thoughts on Koko B. Ware being named to the 2009 HOF Class? I believe there are other wrestlers from his era who deserved the opportunity before Koko.
With all due respect, I think it cheapens the Hall. Ware was a solid, mid-card act but a Hall of Fame is supposed to house all-time greats, and he is not one. But, WWE hasn't exactly used that criteria in the past for the HOF so it doesn't surprise me.
Why is it that people are so quick to blame Shelton Benjamin's lack of success on his mic skills when you have Jeff Hardy, whose promos and mic skills are completely awful. Why is it WWE continues to push guys like Hardy over others?
One word, charisma. Jeff has it in bundles. Even before he improved on promos, and he has gotten very good, he always had charisma. People reacted to him. Shelton has not had that connection with the fans. Both guys are great workers but only one of them has been able to get the fans to jump out of their seats. That is why Jeff gets pushes and chances that others may not.
