With all the releases within the last several weeks, add Afa Sr. to the list.  He had been working in something of a consultant's position for the company when it came to suggesting talent and they recently released him from that position as part of the ongoing cutbacks.    WWE's John Laurinaitis is still scheduled to attend a June training camp held by Afa's Wild Samoan Wrestling School in Leesburg, FL, so the association with WWE will remain.

All that is announced thus far for tonight's Raw taping in Jacksonville, Florida is a contract signing for the Wrestlemania World title bout between Edge and Big Show where obviously John Cena will be thrust into the mix.

The April 2009 theme for WWE 24/7 will be "Large and In Charge" looking at monsters in the wrestling business.  Scheduled for the month is a Hall of Profile on the late Gorilla Monsoon, Gordon Solie's Film Room looking at giants in the business, WCW Superbrawl V (Hulk Hogan vs. Vader in Baltimore, Maryland), a 1978 Madison Square Garden card featuring WWF champ Bob Backlund vs. Ernie Ladd, a August 1985 Toronto house show featuring Andre the Giant vs. Big John Studd, The Great Khali hosting matches featuring giants from the past and more.

The feature film Royal Kill, which features about to return WWE Diva Gail Kim as an assassin out to murder a princess, is scheduled to receive a limited theatrical run on 4/10 in the United States.  Kim did the film while working for TNA.  Kim is featured on the poster for the film.  You can view a trailer at www.RoyalKill.com.
