For those who have asked about rumors of CM Punk vs. JBL for the Intercontinental championship, we've heard that was the direction WWE had planned about a week ago.
At one point, an angle was set to kick off the storyline at this past Monday's Raw but the segment was dropped due to time concerns. With Punk set for Money in the Bank, I don't think a title change to JBL would be out of the question.
JBL has been teasing something "historic" in regard to his role at Wrestlemania, but that could always been in-character boasting coming from a heel.
