WWE sources confirmed the company is working on a Randy Savage DVD title for this June. I think one of the more interesting things to follow will be how Savage is portrayed on any potential documentary included in the 3 DVD set.
The official release date for WWE Wrestlemania XXV on standard and blu-ray DVD has been pushed up from June to 5/19. The complete 2009 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be included on the set.
The Greatest Stars of the '90s WWE DVD will be released on 4/19. As we've noted previously, the DVD focuses 85% on WWF talent of the time with a smaller focus on WCW names like Goldberg and Sting. There is no ECW representation on the DVD. Rock, Bret Hart, Undertaker and Steve Austin are on the cover of the release.
The discussed WWE Greatest Tag Team DVD is tentatively scheduled for the Fall of 2009. Two words for the producers on this title - Midnight Express.
