PWINSIDER Q&A: JOHN MORRISON, FABULOUS MOOLAH, UNDERTAKER AND MORE

By Buck Woodward on 2008-12-20 10:00:00

Every time I see WWE's John Morrison with his sunglasses and jet black hair he reminds me so much of the late singer for The Doors Jim Morrison. Coincidence or am I making too much into this? They wouldn't be related by any chance?

They are not related, and it certainly is not a coincidence.  WWE intentionally changed Morrison's look, name and promo style to pick up on characteristics of the legendary singer.

Before The Fabulous Moolah pased away did she ever own/operate a wrestling school for women years ago?

Yes, Moolah not only trained female wrestlers, she was also responsible for getting them booked in various territories and companies.

Many questions have been asked as to what happened between Vince McMahon and Macho Man Savage to bring out such strong, personel feelings. I read where McMahon has been asked about it but refused to comment on it. To your knowledge, has anyone ever asked Savage himself what happened between himself and Mr. McMahon?

Yes, I asked him myself once.  He refused to comment on it.

How can Undertaker's illegal choke hold where he pins himself be nominated for move of the year, unless of course worst is prepended to the category name? Also, in no-DQ matches, the ref still expects a break of a submission hold when the opponent reaches the ropes, so, even ignoring that Undertaker was pinned for a 3 count, how come the ref counted the submission instead of insisting on a break of the illegal choke?

Wrestling has sort of bent the "choke" rule a lot in recent years, allowing for judo and martial arts style chokes, but still outlawing the blatant "hands on throat" choke.

I remember back years ago when a significant moment in a wrestlers career caused him to turn face or heel. Such as during the battle royal at Wrestlemania 4, when Bret Hart was double crossed by Bad News Brown, thus making Bret a face, or when Barry Windham turned against Lex Luger, joining the horseman, thus making him a heel. My question concerns the Great Khali's face turn. Am I correct when I say the significant moment that turned Khali face was when he decided to kiss woman? And if so ..... HUH?

Yes, his taking over of the Kiss Cam has made him a babyface, and I join you in the "HUH" nature of it all.
