It's been asked a lot what would happen to WWE if Vince McMahon were to pass away, but what would happen to TNA without Jeff Jarrett? Not to be morbid, but if he passed away, who would run the company, and do you think it would be worse for TNA or WWE to lose their "big boss?"
If Jarrett passed away, you'd still have Dixie Carter as the owner, and a creative team of Vince Russo and Dutch Mantel, so TNA could still continue. However, not having Jeff Jarrett would be a huge blow, and in my opinion, a bigger blow than if Vince McMahon weren't around for WWE at this point. TNA is still growing and expanding, WWE is fully established as a business and I think the company is in a much better position for "life without Vince".
Do you think Paul Heyman will ever return to professional wrestling as a performer or a booker?
Never say never in this business. I think Heyman is very happy with his legacy in wrestling, and the fact that his latter-day work with WWE hasn't really detracted from his true legacy in in the industry, which is the original ECW. However, if the price and situation were right, I think he would return. What that situation (and price) is, I don't know.
When the WWE has a major rock band, like AC/DC or Metallica, provide the theme song for a PPV, how much involvement does the band have in that decision?
Not a lot, really. It's more a promotional move made by the record label and management to advertise a new release by having the song played during commercials for the PPV. Obviously in some cases, like Metallica, you have a "hands on" band that has final approval on almost every decision involving their music, while other bands just let their management handle it.
Does WWE run shows the same day as the Superbowl?
Yes. For years, WWE has run house shows on Superbowl Sunday. Wisely though, they always run those shows as early matinees, with the idea being that you can attend the show, and still have plenty of time to get home (or wherever) to watch the big game.
Will we ever see Mick Foley in WWE again?
I think that certainly is possible, but it won't be anytime soon.
