As I mentioned earlier tonight on the TNA Final Resolution post-game show in the PWInsider.com Elite section, the person playing Gov. Sarah Palin for TNA is actually former WCW star Daffney, who did make a TNA appearance earlier in the year taking the Awesome Kong challenge.
There were no major injuries coming out of the PPV last night.
TNA has announced a tournament will take place to fill the vacancy in the held-up TNA X-Division championship. The first round of the tournament will feature:
*Eric Young vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir (taping Monday)
*Alex Shelley vs. "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal (Monday)
*Chris Sabin vs. "The Guru" Sonjay Dutt (taping Tuesday)
*Consequences Creed vs. Akira Raijin (taping Tuesday)
The tournament finals will take place at the Genesis PPV next month in Charlotte, NC.
Rajin is the young All Japan Pro Wrestling talent who was quietly signed several months back by TNA after a tryout. He recently relocated to Michigan after being signed.
