PWINSIDER Q&A: TNA, MACHO MAN, WWE 24/7 AND MORE

By Buck Woodward on 2008-11-20 10:00:00

Do you think TNA would make Curry Man take the mask off and go back to being the Fallen Angel?

I think at some point they will have the Fallen Angel return, and it would seem to me that with the emphasis on "TNA Originals" vs. the Main Event Mafia, it would be a good time to have Christopher Daniels resume the persona he had during the early days of TNA.

After this rerun of WCW you ever think TNA will make the X-title mean anything?

Actually, I think the X-Division Title is about to get a boost with Eric Young winning it.  Young seems to be in for a push as a TNA Original and a player in the storyline against the Main Event Mafia.  Hopefully it results in the X-Title being seen as something important again.

You see any other members coming to join the Main Event Mafia like Rhino?

I would hope that TNA realizes one of the mistakes back in WCW was that the NWO grew too large, and lost all effectiveness.  I would rather see the Main Event Mafia stay a small group, and not expand too the point that the concept is diluted.  As for Rhino, he is sort of on the outs with both groups.  He isn't a TNA Original, but he wasn't a WCW/WWF headliner, which is the criteria for the Main Event Mafia.

Hey guys, with the recent pics of the Macho Man showing up online, is it me or does he look really out of shape? Does he have any health issues you know of? He was pretty fit in 2004 and now he looked really fat. Didn't seem like him at all I was shocked.

I don't think Savage looks that bad, considering he recently turned 56 years old. Obviously, he doesn't look as ripped, but I would imagine he simply isn't working out as he once was.

Tough question...when all else fails, who do you go to when your cable provider will not update WWE 24/7 as they should? I've contacted WWE and Comcast who doesn't seem to realize that there's new content to download most every Wednesday. They take the shows down on schedule and haven't put anything up in their place. I was down to three shows (not counting The Miz stuff and the Superstar Billy Graham stuff as of yesterday. A operator for Comcast read me the program lineup I should have and I was missing a Raw and a Nitro and several others. This isn't the first time this has happened either!

My best suggestion would be to call your local cable operator, bitch and moan (politely), and do it in person.  Then, once you get someone with some authority, refer that person to the Comcast operator and the list you were given of shows.  Point out that you pay for this service to be updated in a proper manner, and if it isn't, then you expect a credit on your account.  It's my experience that cable companies hate giving money back, so maybe you'll get some action out of it.
