I remember a movie a few years ago called "SuperSize Me", which kind of put McDonalds in a bad light. For a while, McDonalds stopped using the term "Super Size" in regards to their meals. Do you think the WWE is doing the same thing with their term "wrestler" and instead of the term "entertainers" because of the movie "The Wrestler", that is coming out soon, that puts the industry in a not-so-good light?
Absolutely not. As we've mentioned on the site, WWE's use of the term "entertainers" is part of their attempt to get WWE show reclassified as entertainment, rather than sporting, events for tax and athletic commission purposes.
In regards to your No Name Show and your Q&A. Buck, ever though of, instead of telling Dave and Mike to not cursing, waiting till after you tape your show to edit out the curses? Put a buzz sound or no sound when your hear an f-bomb or another curse.
No, because if they knew they could curse and I would just edit it later, they'd open up the floodgates and curse more. It'd be a whole show of buzzing!
Is there some way to figure out the original air date of the NWA TBS Show in which it was first announced that Magnum TA had his career ending auto accident and Nikita turned babyface?
I believe it would be the October 18th or 25th edition of the TBA show in 1986.
With WWE doing their Supershow in Toronto just before Christmas on December 22nd taping both RAW and Smackdown in the same night, does that mean they will not be doing the Tribute To The Troops special this year that would normally air in the RAW or Smackdown timeslot during the week of Christmas?
WWE will absolutely be doing the Tribute To The Troops show. I'm not sure how WWE is handling the broadcast, but it will be an NBC special this year.
Do you think it was a mistake on TNA's part in releasing Karen Angle? It was reported that WWE resigned two former WWE developmental wrestlers that were once under contract. Is it too late for TNA to do the same and resign Karen Angle?
Other than being incredibly gorgeous, what did Karen Angle bring to the table for TNA? She wasn't an in-ring performer and her interview segments were hardly interesting. Sure, TNA could resign her, but I don't see the point, especially if it is just going to create tension with Kurt Angle at shows.
