Why is it that I look at TNA's roster and wonder that they have so many good talent not utilized or under utilized, to the point that they are letting good people go (e.g. Jim Mitchell and Tomko) and then I look at WWE's roster and I can only think that they don't have anywhere near as many good talents as TNA has? Is TNA's recruitment or training that much better, is it WWE over scripting guys so they don't show as much personality or is the fact that TNA has 1 roster and 2 hours of TV time where as the WWE has diluted there talent pool over three rosters and 5 hours of TV time, your thoughts?
I think it all depends on how you define a good talent. On the whole, guys in TNA get to do more in-ring wrestling so you get to see what their talents can do in the ring. WWE wrestlers work a less physical style so you don't always get to see come of them can do. I think it's more a product of the in-ring styles that the companies use than anything else.
My question is about the return of D-LO Brown....do yo u see him getting a push after all that's happened to him or do you think he'll be used in squash matches?
He was brought back with a little bit of fanfare but since then he has mostly worked in dark matches (and lost his share of them). I would never try and predict the future in WWE but right now it doesn't appear that they have a big push planned for him. As always with WWE creative, that can change with the drop of a hat.
Do you think DH Smith is looking at the new 2nd Generation Stable on Raw and wondering who he pissed off to be stuck back in FCW? Are there any plans to include him down the road?
If he is wondering it must be because he doesn't own a mirror. Failing a Wellness Test shortly after he was brought up to the Raw roster is a major part of why he isn't on TV. Some have speculated that Smith was brought up just so that he could fail the test and be one of the first names that WWE publicly divulged as a way of showing that the program worked, but I can't confirm that. In any event, Smith is young and has a lot going for him so I think he will get a chance sooner or later.
Do you see Batista or another RAW superstar being pushed or turned as a major heel soon? Because it's seems that Kane, while technically a heel, has always been in that grey area between heel and face, Ted Dibiase Jr and Cody Rhodes, while showing great potential as heels, have a ways to go (but they're really reminding me of the old Money Inc team). And JBL and Randy Orton induce this reflex channel changing impulse in my finger.
I think it's pretty clear that WWE is putting a lot of stock into having Orton as one of their top heels on Monday nights. Management is very much behind him in the role so I think for the immediate future, he and Chris Jericho will be the top antagonists on the brand. The company has heard complaints like yours (and mine) about Orton for a while now and they don't share our opinion so I don't expect that to change.
Is there any chance a TNA pay-per-view will come to Dallas, TX? I was just asking since Panda Energy is based out of Dallas.
TNA is looking at venues around the country now to run their shows and I would guess that Dallas would be given consideration. With that said, I don't think the fact that Panda is based there will have any influence on whether they run there.
