World Wrestling Entertainment acknowledged the passing of Jack Reynolds with
the following announcement on their website:
WWE is saddened to learn of the death of one of its former announcers,
Jack Reynolds. Reynolds passed away on Oct. 16.
Reynolds joined WWE’s broadcast team in the early 1980s, and assumed the
role of play-by-play announcer for the then-All-Star Wrestling telecasts,
teaming up with Canadian football legend-turned-wrestler Angelo “King Kongâ€
Mosca, and later Jesse “The Body†Ventura. And it was Reynolds and Ventura
who became the original hosts of Prime Time Wrestling when it debuted in
1985 on USA Network.
Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Jack Reynolds.
