Recently NFL coach Romeo Crennel of the Cleveland Browns instructed his team not to discuss or question anyone's feelings about the current run for President of the United States between Barack Obama (D) from Illinois and John McCain (R) from Arizona. He didn't want any distractions that would prevent the team from preparing for the next game. Two players from the Browns were seen at separate campaign rallies. One for Obama. The other for McCain. Are wrestlers allowed to state their preference for President without fear of reprisal? I heard that Val Venis has a strong political reputation. Are you aware of such a policy with WWE, ROH or TNA?
I have never heard of any mandates from a wrestling organization preventing a wrestler from, on their own time, espousing or promoting their political beliefs. That said, when WWE has performers making "Smackdown Your Vote" appearances, I believe they are expected to act non-partisan at those events.
Do you know the status of Hardcore Holly, Val Venis, Elijah Burke and Paul London?
All four are under WWE contract. Venis has been dealing with some nagging injury issues, from what I understand. As for the others, they simply aren't being used.
What's the latest on WWE star Chris Nowinski? I know he has started an organization delving into persons suffering from concussions such as in wrestling, football and other sports. He, himself, suffered from them. How is he?
Nowinski is still working with his Sports Legacy Institute regarding the effects of concussions on athletes.
I saw where The Great Khali seems to have roving eyes for WWE ring announcer Lillian Garcia? Didn't another wrestler have eyes for her once? What does she have that attracts the unusual?
Yes, there was a storyline involving Big Daddy V, then portraying the "World's Largest Love Machine, Viscera", having a romance with Lilian. As for what the unusual (and not-so-unusual) find attractive about her, just look at her! And she sings too!
The building where TNA Impact! is taped. Is it large enough to perhaps allow TNA to have cage matches just like the ones on Raw? Is it possible to have a cage match on Impact!?
Yes, TNA have had numerous cage matches, as well as Ultimate X matches, in the Impact Zone for their weekly show on SpikeTV as well as PPV events that have emanated from there.
