PWINSIDER Q&A: STING'S NEW TNA ROLE, GAIL KIM, FORMER WWE DIVAS GOING TO TNA, KIP JAMES & MORE

I was wondering with Sting’s recent face promo despite his heel actions and the crowd reaction why not have TNA run with it and make him a neutral guy? Sort of like his “silent” period in WCW where both sides try to find out who he eventually would pick. Although in my opinion the ending should be him choosing neither side and becoming almost an Austin like antihero who looks out mainly for himself.  This could really make the title picture interesting as he could get involved with any angle and be a constant factor regardless of who else is involved. This also moves Sting into a great position to feud with guys from both sides of the line to help TNA make new top guys as he doesn’t have that many years left in the tank.

I like this idea and it may be this is exactly what TNA is trying to accomplish creatively, although they have yet to acheive that goal.  I don't think Sting should be anything but a babyface at this stage in his career, however.

Have you heard anything about Paul Burchill being on the chopping block?  Burchill is a superb wrestler in all aspects, and has the potential to be a main-eventer down the line - but WWE are seriously wasting his talents.

I haven't heard anything that makes me believe he's close to being released, but any talent that isn't in a heavily pushed position should always be concerned about their spot.  Having seen how great his OVW work was, I'd agree with you that WWE isn't getting the most out of him at the moment, not by a longshot.

 Why is Kip James teaming with The Beautiful People Velvet Sky and Angelina Love? There is no reason for it. The Beautiful People are quite successful in TNA and do not need Kip James's help. Any reason given as to why he is now associated with The Beautiful People?

TNA pays him a good salary and needed to do something with him.  I'd much rather this than being subjected to his wrestling, so bring on the vignettes!

With Gail Kim leaving TNA for more than likely not so greener pastures in WWE, what do you think of Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holley, or Chyna showing up TNA and both turning the Womens Divison in a force to rival the Men's Division, and more importunately turning The Beautiful People (which is so true), Roxxi, Taylor, ODB, and most importantly Kong (who is TNA's version of The Great Kahli) into the great wrestlers they can be.  Although with Kong that may be hard.

If you don't think Kong is a great wrestler, you are living in the same fantasyland where you think any of the women you mentioned are going to come to TNA.  None of them are.

I recently read on a Gail Kim fansite about the possibility she may return to TNA if she gets a fair offer-- mentioned was some backlash backstage from a lot of the other talent in the company over how things were handled.. what are your thoughts?

I have yet to hear about any backlash, nor have I heard about a potential TNA return.  She left TNA to make more money elsewhere.  I don't see her returning, but that's just me.
