I'm on a mission, the WWE is coming back to Fort Lauderdale in December and I want ringside seats. This being a non-televised RAW event, how hard do you think it will be to get ringside and how on earth do you get them? Ticketmaster told me they don't have them even though I was first in line. How do you get ringside, and where is your favorite place to sit at a live show?
Ringside is hard to get, even for house shows. Often, WWE has promotional partners (like radio stations) that end up getting the majority of ringside seats, making it almost impossible to purchase. That's not to say all the ringside tickets are unavailable, but it is pretty difficult to obtain them. Personally, I always like sitting in elevated seats, like the lower bowl of an arena. You end up with a better view of the entire ring and ringside area, and don't have to stand up as much as you do on the floor.
If you were booking in TNA, would you allow Curry Man to eventually be revealed as Christopher Daniels or would you let the 2 characters be apart of the roster at the same time? (Assuming Daniels does return.)I could see both scenarios happening. Personally, I'd like to see them bring back Daniels separately from Curry Man, having him play both roles at the same time, then slowly phase out Curry Man. Then in the future, you could bring him back again, and never acknowledge on TV that Daniels is playing both roles.
Other than our good friends at Highspots and maybe EBay, can you suggest a good place online to buy new and old wrestling shirts?
The best bet, if you have the opportunity, is to attend a wrestling convention. At the larger conventions, you can find vendors with an array of classic shirts. That's your best bet outside of Ebay.
Is it true that as long as you have a prescription you can still use banned substances? I remember hearing a while back the WWE was going to test the cardiovascular systems of the performers, is that actually happening and if so how often?
A wrestler can still use prescription medication with a valid prescription from a doctor, yes. However, street drugs, excessive steroids, and the like are banned. WWE has been testing wrestlers for cardiac issues, I believe at least annually.
I have a question about peoples names in wrestling. Some people go by their real name (John Cena and Mickie James), others go by part of their real name (Finlay and Maria) and some go by a totally different name altogether (Triple H and Edge). How does it work backstage? Do the wrestlers go by their stage name or by their real name, if they are different?
There's no set rule, but the majority of wrestlers I've been around refer to each other by their ring name, with few exceptions. People call Triple H "Hunter" backstage and that's not his real first name.
