I know we are probably not going to see a WCW company biography set any time soon but do you think WWE will produce any for companies like Stampede that they own the video library of? The ECW, AWA and WCCW are 3 of my favorite sets they are ever made and I am hoping to see more like that come out in the future.
I would absolutely think there is a possibility for a Stampede Wrestling DVD. WWE owns the library, so it would be ludicrous not to monetize it the same way they have with other DVD documentaries about different companies. I haven't heard of one being in production, but in terms of something down the line, I could see it, especially if Bret Hart became personally involved with the production.
Since discovering PWInsider.com (I seem to remember soliciting 1Wrestling.com, and then following one of their proprietors following a split to PWInsider.com. I'm thinking it was Dave Scherer, but I can't remember for sure), I have seen several questions regarding the WWE HOF and Bruno Sammartino. As of today, I feel that it is as much the fault of Bruno that he hasn't been inducted as it is Vince's fault. Maybe even more Bruno's fault than Vince's. At what point did/does the WWE HOF become a valid Hall of Fame regardless of Bruno's presence? If he never allows the induction, isn't that on him, rather than Vince?
I think most fans and those who work for World Wrestling Entertainment consider it to be a valid Hall of Fame, but its a Hall of Fame of personalities Vince McMahon decided he wanted honored over the years. Since there is long-standing bad blood between Sammartino and McMahon, I don't ever see Bruno inducted, unless its done posthumously.
As for the WWE HOF, a few all-timers are for sure. Undertaker, Michaels, HHH, and Austin are just waiting for their year. What do you think about these names: Rock, Foley, Owen, and Hall/Nash? My only concern with The Rock is his length of tenure. With Foley, his recent returns have caused me to look at him a bit differently. Owen is probably up to Martha, Oje and Athena. As for Hall/Nash, I can see VKM holding them out due to their role in the nWo (for the competition). I value your opinions a lot more than my own, so what do you think?
I absolutely see Mick Foley as a Hall of Famer. He broke the mold by succeeding in a company where every detractor said he never could, because of his look, but everything else he had going for him allowed it. He had one of the all-time craziest bumps of all time and broke the doors down for wrestling books, plus he's a three-time WWE champion. I don't see Hall or Nash as Hall of Famers per say, but at some point I can see them being honored because you'll get to the point where the company needs major names to induct. Owen Hart had one of the all-time best Wrestlemania performances at Mania X and deserves it because of how beloved he was within the industry, but I suspect the circumstances of his death will likely prevent it, unless Bret Hart himself opts to accept the award, which (in wrestling fans' eyes, at least) would supersede the refusal of Martha Hart to be involved in any way, shape or form with the company following her lawsuit and settlement against them.
Hi everybody. Just want to know what the guy under the Mohammed Hassan persona is doing right now. Is he still under contract? I think he was a good wrestler under a bad gimmick.
The last I heard about Mark Copani, he was living in California and doing personal training as he tried to get work as an actor. He's not under a WWE deal and has never worked in wrestling again after departing the company.
If Undertaker and Michelle McCool are dating now, whatever happened to him and his wife Sara, or were they just an on-screen couple?
I hate answering questions of this nature, but obviously, Undertaker's previous relationship is estranged or over. She was legitimately his wife and used for a brief period on camera.
