I know Sting hasn't expressed any interest in having a run with WWE. However, do you think that once Sting is officially done with TNA. That the WWE will try and induct him into the Hall of Fame? And possibly get him to participate in that Sting DVD that they were going to release? Since WWE pretty much owns most of the footage from his career.
Once Sting is done with TNA, I absolutely expect WWE to eventually extend him an invitation to go into the Hall Of Fame. However, until Sting decides he is done with TNA (and he signed a new deal with them this year), he's not going to have any involvement with WWE.
I was pretty shocked to see CM Punk win the title a few weeks ago. But I guess he is one of the new rising stars. How long do you see him holding the title and is this really helping the WWE and the ratings and all?
I think CM Punk will at least have the title up until the Fall. Anything past Survivor Series will be dependent on how well received he is as champion. Some of his segments have done well in the ratings, so his title reign certainly isn't hurting the show.
I recently watched the Ultimate Warrior’s return match against Orlando Jordan. During the match, he gave OJ a suplex off the top rope. I didn’t grow up during Warrior’s heyday and never really went back to watch those old “classic†Warrior matches, but off the top of my head, I can’t ever remember him taking a bump off the top rope, at least in WWE. Am I right or wrong? Also, do you think TNA or WWE will sign him anytime soon? Vince HAS TO be interested on some level.
I don't recall a superplex ever being part of the Warrior's arsenal. I don't know if TNA has any interest in Warrior, or if Warrior is interested in any kind of regular wrestling schedule at this point in his life. As for WWE, I would be shocked to see him there, given the legal entanglements Warrior has engaged WWE in for the past several years.
So since Ashley Massaro recently requested her release and was granted it on the supposed basis that her daughter which was changed to a family member being ill. Do you foresee her pulling a Kurt Angle and signing a deal with TNA as soon as she can?
I don't see what she brings to the table for TNA to care. They've got plenty of females on the roster already.
When WWE decides to run Wrestlemania again in the New York market, do you think it is a possibility that instead of running Madison Square Garden, they would consider running at the new Yankee Stadium or the new Citifield Park (Mets Stadium)?
I suppose it is possible, but it can sometimes be pretty cold still in New York in March and April, so an outdoor show may not be a good idea. I think it is far more likely they will go back to the Garden (and charge really high prices to make up for not running a stadium).
