PWINSIDER Q&A: KAREN ANGLE, TRIPLE H, WRESTLEMANIA AND MORE

By Buck Woodward on 2008-07-06 10:00:00

Do you see TNA's Karen Angle eventually betray AJ Styles leading to her returning alongside her husband Kurt Angle?

Sure, and knowing TNA's booking, she will probably switch back and forth a few times between them.

With the upcoming birth of Stephanie and Triple H's second child, will this force Triple H to cut back on his duties as both wrestler and behind the scenes activist to devote more time and attention to their two children?

Nope.  I imagine he will take off the week of the birth, but I wouldn't expect him to take a sabbatical or lessen any of his WWE duties.

I was wondering if there is any chance of us seeing a Hulk Hogan vs. John Cena at Wrestlemania 25 or John Cena vs. Batista ?

Hogan vs. Cena?  Doubtful.  Cena vs. Batista?  Possible.

At Judgment Day, Vickie Guerrero couldn't make a post-match announcement because of heel heat. In consecutive Smackdown appearances, she's had similar problems. At times, the response she gets by simply appearing on screen seems to trump those of Triple H or John Cena. The crowd hates her. Is this the result of effective writing, or is there something Ms. Guerrero is doing that other WWE characters could learn from?

I think a lot of it had to do with the way she presented her character, but a big hunk of credit also goes to WWE's writers, who made her one of the most annoying heels in recent memory.  Because of her position as General Manager on Smackdown, she could constantly screw top babyfaces like Undertaker and Batista and no one was able to get the better of her.  It drove fans nuts and made them hate her.  Being with the best heel in the business in Edge didn't hurt either.

Since we all know that Undertaker is coming back in the next few months how do you think that WWE will go about bringing him back? Do you think they will insult our intelligence and just bring him back as if nothing happened or will they do something cool how they normally do for Takers return. Also do you think they would think about bringing the Paul Bearer character if Percy seems to be over his health problems?

Honestly, all they need to do is turn out the lights on Edge one night, toll a bell, and the place will explode.  That's all that is needed.  As for Paul Bearer, WWE hasn't shown any interest in bringing him back ever since they buried him in concrete.
