It's really up to Bruno, to be honest. WWE has reached out to him in the past about it, but Bruno feels that accepting an induction to the Hall Of Fame would be hypocritical given the way he feels about Vince McMahon and the WWE product. There's no doubt he belongs in there, and in the eyes of many, it isn't "really a Hall Of Fame" without him.
I'm a big fan of the Old School introductions WWE has been doing for title matches recently (waiting to announce the wrestlers until after both have come to the ring) and I was wondering who came up with the idea. Was this something Michael Hayes came up with or someone else?
I don't know who suggested the idea for WWE first, but supposedly the idea came from watching UFC and seeing how they do the "old school" introductions following the entrances of the participants. I say "supposedly" because I find it hard to believe that no one in WWE noticed that TNA has been doing it for their title matches for years now. Either way, I like it as well. It gives a "big time" feel to title bouts and sets them apart from the other matches on the show.
I was wondering what Shawn Michaels was like backstage now. We heard stories that he had originally sat down with people when he came back and apologized for his previous behavior. Supposedly, he also had pretty much stopped playing the "politic game." But, now that the smoke is cleared, and he's been back for a while, is this still true? Is he a respectful, good guy backstage, or has he resumed his previous position as a backstabbing political player, or is it somewhere in between?
I would say "somewhere in between" is a good answer. Michaels has matured, and certainly isn't worried about "his spot" like he was in the past. Michaels knows his place in history is secure, that he is one of the top stars in the company, and doesn't need to "hold back" anyone in the company. At the same time, he has been known to get his nose out of joint over things, like the Hulk Hogan situation at Summerslam a few years ago, and make no mistake about it, he still has plenty of "stroke" even if he doesn't use it in a vicious manner.
Do you know when Jeff Jarrett is set to return to the TNA active roster? Are they waiting until TNA gets a two hour time slot? When do you feel would be the right time to bring him back?
I have heard no talk of Jeff Jarrett returning to the active roster, although he is supposedly going to appear on the next UK tour. Personally, I think Jarrett is doing the right thing by sitting out at the moment and concentrating on running the company.
I collect wrestling figures and I have this old one named Wrath. Do you think you can give me some details?
Wrath was Bryan Clarke, who also wrestled as the Nightstalker in SMW, Adam Bomb in the WWF, and was Wrath in WCW before going back to being Bryan Clarke and teaming with Brian Adams as Kronik. The team had a very (VERY) brief WWF run in 2001, losing to Undertaker & Kane. In fact, I think their WWF tenure was less than a month long.
