On the Warrior's website UltimateWarrior.com the Warrior mentions something that happened between HHH and the Warrior back in 1996, and said that he has not spoken about his side of the story. He did not say anything about what happened. Can you guys help me out and fill me in on what he was referring to?
I'm pretty sure he is referring to Wrestlemania, where Warrior made his return to WWE in a match against Triple H. As I have heard the story told, Warrior basically went up to Triple H and asked him what his finisher was, then told him he was going to be kicking out of it. Triple H, reportedly complained to the agents, but was essentially told he would have to be squashed by Warrior.
Hey there I'm a big fan of wrestling and just started training however my chances of being signed by a big time company probably won't be that great because I have a small body frame. However I am currently taking a broadcasting program in college for TV. My question(s) are does the WWE, TNA even ROH hire students right out of college, and also if I were to get an interview should I mention that I am a wrestling fan and understand the product or do they not like hiring people that like wrestling.
I can't speak for TNA or ROH, who obviously have a lot less staff than WWE, but I can tell you that WWE prefers experience when looking to hire people. That's not to say you won't have a chance straight out of college, especially if you take an internship somewhere that allows you to build your resume. As for being a fan of the product, I can tell you that WWE probably won't care that much. Although it doesn't hurt to be familiar with the product, WWE cares more about your work background, not whether you're a fan or not.
Do you think that maybe a wrestler should be the one giving the McMahon millions away, say a Mr. Kennedy or Chris Jericho or Matt Striker or even Edge, you know people with personality that could make the give-a-way a lot more entertaining, or perhaps have the number set up in the phone already and make a speed dial call cause Vince's glasses just don't seem to work that well.
I definitely think they need to do something to spice things up, because the giveaway segments were pretty boring to me too. Also, they definitely should invest in speed dial and pre-program all the numbers in advance.
I was watching The Rock The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment DVD and noticed Hogan didn't come out to the NWO music, but rather some other music. Was it a cause of not owning the rights to the NWO music?
I haven't seen the DVD yet, but Hogan may have used Jimi Hendrix' "Voodoo Child" that night.
Do you know why Canada was excluded from McMahon's Million Dollar Mania?
I would assume there was a legal reason involving the cash giveaway that precluded countries outside the U.S. from being included.
