Hey guys, so I had a question concerning Ron Killings and John Cena. With Killings doing dark matches on the RAW brand right now, is there still heat with him and Cena? I read somewhere before, back when Killings was in TNA, about their airport altercation which resulted in them having a war of words.
Ron Killings is smart enough to know that causing problems would be a big, big mistake. John Cena runs with the crowd at the top of the company. Killings doesn't and knows better than to start anything with him, believe me.
With William Regal's suspension ongoing and the recent heavy drop in the Raw ratings why not give Teddy Long the GM position on RAW? I really enjoyed his work as GM of Smackdown and could see his entertaining face character bringing something new to RAW and hopefully in turn improve the RAW ratings and product as it has grown rather stale since Wrestlemania?
I would rather see Teddy Long on Raw than ECW too. I think he brings something different to the table that would add something to Raw that hasn't been there lately (since the heel GM role is really tired at this point). To be fair though, I don't think he is a ratings draw, just a fun character. But maybe he can help spice up ECW. That show could use all of the star power it can get.
Forgive me for stating the obvious, but don't you think it's high time that Shawn change his music from "Sexy Boy" to say. "Handsome middle aged gent" or "Balding Old Fart"?
Absolutely. I have said the same myself. A forty-something year old man coming out to "Sexy Boy" is pretty goofy in my opinion. So is being the Heartbreak Kid when there isn't any kid left in him. Then again, Ric Flair was the Nature Boy until he was almost 60 so what do I know.
What about ECW's Kofi Kingston? He sure brings something new to the table. Where do you see him? IC Champion maybe?
I think he has a lot of potential. I can't say that he will be a home run hitter for sure, but he certainly could end up being a player for WWE. He just needs to continue to work hard and improve. He has a special charisma to him that can't be taught and that is a big plus.
Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of The Undertaker and have an enormous amount of respect for what he's done for the business and the WWE in particular. Having said that, isn't it somewhat selfish and disrespectful to the other guys back stage for him to take time off for non-injury now, at a time when business and ratings are down as significantly as they are, and he's by far SmackDown's biggest draw? Furthermore, if he's constantly having to take time off just to keep the character 'fresh', isn't that a sign that PERHAPS it's time for him to step aside altogether and let other guys move up on the card?
I have heard a number of stories as to why Taker took off. Some say he is taking a break. Some say he has some minor injuries that he wants to heal up. Others say it's personal reasons. Here is my caveat. If he is injured badly or a serious family situation, fine. Take the time you need. If not, then I have a problem with it. Now, let me first say that I respect Taker and have said many times that I feel he has paid his dues and earned the perks he gets from WWE. I have never had a problem with him taking time off in the past, especially as he got older. But, he is also a locker room leader and as you said, this is a trying time for the company and they need their leaders to lead, especially their true top tier talent. So, if this is just a break to recharge his batteries, I feel that he is letting the company and his fellow workers down.
