Where's Perry Saturn these days? I used to be a big fan. Also was Moppy(sp) his last WWE gimmick?
The last I heard about Saturn, he was living in the Mid-West. At one point, he had been working with former WCW star Sonny Ono at Ono's car dealership, but I believe that was some time ago.
After watching (or trying to, anyways) TNA Sacrifice something stood out to me. Other than some of the older Survivor Series PPVs, has there EVER been a PPV that has had absolutely NO one-on-one matches on the entire card?
Possibly, but nothing that is coming to me off the top of my head. The closest I can think of is Wrestlemania 2000 where every bout except one was a multi-person match. That lone singles bout? Terri Runnels vs. The Kat.
So why didn't Torrie get an on air send off? didn't she deserve it?
It's possible they will wish her well on Smackdown this week, since that's the brand she was on, but not likely. As far as whether she deserved it or not, WWE is in the business of building characters and storylines. By putting over someone who is leaving, unless they are a star the magnitude of Ric Flair, they are spending time and effort on something that doesn't help the company. I like Wilson and all, but it isn't like she changed the face of wrestling. She was a beautiful woman who worked hard and did her job and tried to wrestle, but we're not talking like she's Trish Stratus, much less Fabulous Moolah levels of historical importance.
After the, at best, lukewarm reaction to TNA's Sacrifice PPV from the live crowd in Orlando do you think it could be time TNA change the home of Impact and look for a new area? the live crowd seemed to have the mentality of been there done that and I believe a new location with new fans could be best for the atmosphere of Impact and the odd off-the-road PPV TNA does.
No, my belief is that the Impacts are fine where they are, but TNA has evolved past running PPVs for free in a Soundstage in front of a jaded group of fans. The PPVs need to move. The TV tapings, which feature more tourists than hardcore fans, are fine where they are.
My question concerns MVP. He seems to have good speaking skills and great in the ring. Do you see WWE ever giving him that big push and put him on the Heavyweight Championship road?
I absolutely think he'll end up a top-echelon performer for the company given his growth and ability thus far to carry the ball, so while I don't see it today, down the line, I do see him as a World champion level wrestler.
