Who do you think will feud with Matt Hardy for the U.S. Title (after MVP exercises his re-match clause)?
Given the way the rosters are currently set up, I think Chuck Palumbo makes the most sense, especially when you consider the great match they had a few weeks ago.
I haven't seen it mentioned on the site, or anywhere else in the wrestling world, but before they lost the TNA Tag Team Titles last Thursday, AJ Styles and Tomko were the 2nd longest reigning TNA/NWA-TNA Tag Team Champions of All-Time. Of course it's right behind the great tag title reign of America's Most Wanted. Don't you think TNA should have made a big deal about this and had them put over someone huge like LAX or Motor City Machine Guns to end the reign, instead of that silly superhero debacle vacating the titles?
I don't necessarily think you need to make a big deal about a team being "number two", but I do feel the tag titles should have gone to another established team. The whole "Super Eric" debacle was ridiculous ... and the way they are planning on crowning new champions is even more ridiculous.
I recently finished watching the Rey Mysterio DVD, one of the matches was Rey Vs. Blitzkrieg, I vaguely remember this guy, was it actually Alex Wright under a mask or someone else all together?
It's someone else, because Alex Wright was never that fast or agile. Blitzkrieg was a man named Jay Ross, who debuted in 1994 and worked in California and Mexico before making his WCW debut in 1999. His run lasted less than a year, as he decided to stick to his full-time career in a computer company, but he definitely made an impact during that short period. A few years ago, he appeared on an indy show in California and gave the Blitzkrieg gimmick to Jack Evans, who used it for a short time.
Since Kurt Angle is no longer TNA heavyweight wrestling champion, will this lead to the return of Karen Angle by his side and away from AJ Styles? Wasn't it Angle's insistence that he and his wife separate in order for him to focus completely on defending the title against Samoa Joe? Now that he is no longer champion, is Karen Angle's return expected?
Asking someone to figure out TNA's booking is like trying to predict which leaf will fall off a tree first. I would imagine that Angle will now want to get back together with his wife, and Karen will refuse, since Kurt valued the World Title more than their marriage, but that's just a guess on my part.
Now that Ric Flair is retired (or at least, presumed to be), should the nickname "Nature Boy" be retired as well? Beyond a Buddy Landel comeback, I could only imagine some young upstart wanting to use that moniker in tribute to Flair.
I don't think anyone, except probably an indy worker looking for attention, would try and use the "Nature Boy" nickname. I certainly don't see any WWE performer doing it, unless it is part of an angle for a Flair return.
