Do you think Jeff Hardy will be another Scott Hall? With both of their destructive histories I see Jeff heading down the same path. I also see Matt and Kevin Nash in similar situations as to the way they are looked at when it comes the the other two.
I don't see Hardy and Hall being as similar, despite both having well documented issues with substances. It's hard to compare the two without delving into their personal issues, and to be honest, only those closest to both men can really comment on those issues with any certainty. Hopefully for Jeff's sake, he can shake his problems for good, and not end up being fired by WWE and having his career permanently curtailed by his issues. As for Matt and Nash, I guess they are in a similar situation as being very close to talented performers that had problems, but that's about the only comparison I'd make.
I read where the WWE will be instituting a concussion wellness program sometime in March. All performers are required to be tested. Does this include the women wrestlers? I know Chris Nowinski suffered from concussions. Has there been any case of a woman wrestler suffering from a concussion, mental or psychological problems?
Of course, the female wrestlers abide by all the same rules and testing as the male performers. Women have had concussions in wrestling, and it is something that should be treated just as seriously as a man having one. I've never heard of any females suffering mental or psychological problems as a result of a concussion.
Is there a fear that WWE's Wrestlemania is slowly becoming stale? That its starting to become another version of Raw only longer on a greater stage?
I don't think there is any fear that Wrestlemania is becoming stale. I think the only concerns were that the lineup this past year, with the exception of Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels and Floyd Mayweather vs. Big Show, seemed very uninspired, and could have been "just another PPV". The spectacle and promotion of Wrestlemania will always insure that it is seen as more than just a "longer PPV" though.
I have a question about TNA’s production. TNA hired David Sahadi a while back, which was a definite plus for the company. But at the same time, a lot of TNA’s video packages and things of the like, still look a little Microsoft word art-ish. A lot of the entrance videos especially. No doubt Dave made some amazing WWE video packages and has helped TNA greatly, but is it because of TNA’s budget that things still don’t look as good as they can as far as production? Also, how many people does TNA have employed for production as opposed to WWE?
I don't know the exact number, but TNA has a much smaller production crew than WWE, with a lot of people in TNA wearing several "different hats" where WWE has individuals for each task. I don't believe Sahadi did the entrance videos, which would explain why they look less impressive than the other videos. Plus, I don't believe the entrance videos were really designed to be looked at as stand alone pieces, but rather background.
Is it true that there are plans for a Hillary Clinton vs Barack Obama match on the three hour Raw special Monday night? If so, who will be taking the roles of Obama and Clinton? Who will be referee John McCain? Who's brilliant idea was this?
I don't know how WWE is going to have this play out, I just hope it is over quickly and doesn't take away time from the King Of The Ring tournament. As for the "brilliant idea", I'm guessing it was a McMahon.
