Wasn't that booking idea used the last time they were in England? I'm talking about having their Women's Champion get defeated when she defended it overseas. In fact the IC Title was also being defended on that Raw. JR said the exact or was told to say the same thing. "Will we have two titles change hands tonight?"
Not sure what you mean. The Women's Title changed hands in a back and forth switch between Mickie James and Melina in Paris, France in 2007, but that was a non-televised house show. Unless you consider Puerto Rico to be "overseas" the last time the Women's belt changed hands outside of North America was 1994, when Bull Nakano beat Alundra Blayze for the belt in Tokyo.
This has bugged me for the longest time and I saw an extreme example of it again last night. Bubba Dudley had Sting down in the ring. Sting is facing his tag team partner Kevin Nash, who reaches out to try to tag Sting. But, alas, because Sting is in the middle of the ring, Nash's attempt is some 12 feet short. This ridiculous attempt to tag a partner who is obviously way out of reach afflicts every tag team, it seems. Is there some depth perception problem amongst tag team wrestlers?
What you're not noticing is the wrestler saying "Go, go Gadget Arms" in an attempt to extend their hands to their partner for the tag. Seriously, they are just selling to the crowd that they want to tag, and are so desperate to make that tag that they keep their arm outstretched while trying to get closer and make it.
What has Sabu been up to? Haven’t heard much if anything about him since his departure from WWECW. I know he has been announced for the upcoming XPW reunion show, but other than that, has he been wrestling? Also, do you think he will return to TNA at some point?
Sabu is back on the independent scene, although he hasn't had as much of a presence as you would expect on it. I would like to see him return to TNA, but I have not heard any talk of that happening. At 43 years old, and given his high-risk style, you have to wonder how many more "big runs" Sabu has left in him.
I've attended wrestling shows that had taken place outdoors. With the exception of Orlando, Florida where else has the WWE put on shows outdoors?
Sure, although only rarely have they been televised events (Wrestlemania 9 and Summerslam 1992). They've done many shows in outdoor venues, although in recent years I think that activity has been curtailed, as there are plenty of indoor venues for the company to run.
According to Torrie Wilson, she has been advised by two different back specialists not to take part in any more ring work. She didn't say whether she would take their advice or not. What are the WWE's plans for her? Is she under any obligation to give the WWE any idea about whether she wants to wrestle or not? What her plans are? Any chance Torrie might ask for a release from the company?
WWE has no plans for Wilson right now, other than keeping her under contract and having her do promotional work for the company. Obviously, at some point Torrie will have to make a decision if she will wrestle again or not, and then WWE will decide what direction they want to go with her. I suppose there is a chance Torrie could ask for a release, but she seems content to remain with the company in a non-wrestling role.
