With both Krissy Vaine and Lacey Von Erich doing independent shows, any chance TNA might sign these two ladies to a contract?
I suppose there is a possibility, but seeing as TNA has 13 active female
wrestlers on their roster (14 if you count Sharmell), there's not really a lot
of room to bring in more at this time.
I'd like to k now if Sting had a match with Jerry Lawler in the past. My Dad
is thinking, thy did back in 87? If so, who won.
If Sting ever wrestled Jerry Lawler, it would have to be at the very start of
Sting's career, when he teamed with the Ultimate Warrior (using the names Flash
and Rock at that point) as the Blade Runners in Memphis, which would have been
before 1987. If that match happened, then I can pretty much guarantee you
Lawler won. If any longtime Memphis fans remember if the match happened,
toss me an email!
Has Hulk Hogan's show Hogan Knows Best been cancelled?
I guess you could use the term "cancelled" although it really has
been retooled following the Hogan divorce drama into a show focusing on Brooke
Hogan.
I saw a film recently of a match and one of the wrestlers used a fireball
against his opponent. Has the WWE ever sponsor the use of a fireball during a
match? Didn't Jerry Lawler, in his day, use the fireball gimmick sometimes in
his matches?
It's been a while, but I recall Kane doing some fire throwing several years ago. Of course, Hulk Hogan lost the World Title to Yokozuna when a "fireball" was shot at him by a photographer. WWE never really used the fireball gimmick that much though, probably because The Sheik, Eddie Gilbert and Jerry Lawler didn't work there regularly when those wrestlers were using fireballs as part of their arsenal.
My question is, How can the WWE come out with a Sting DVD when they have no rights to the name and they would have to get permission to use his real name? I know they have the rights to the footage and all but I still don't understand how they can do it. If you could answer this for me that would be great.
By having the rights to the footage, they can use the intellectual property contained in it, including Sting's name. As for his real name, there is no rights issue when it comes to referring to someone by their name.
