Benoit was interviewed backstage by Todd Grisham. Benoit put over Kane as being a machine, and they actually looked at some of the replays from the match, with Benoit talking about how Kane avoided the Crossface and how he used the Sharpshooter to weaken Kane. Benoit said "Chris Benoit is for real" three times, and Grisham said it once, so they are pushing that phrase hard now.

Hell In A Cell: Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels. Both men made their entrances, and then the Cell was lowered around them. There were chants of "Triple H" and "HBK" as they did a staredown for about a minute. They locked up, and traded punches and chops in a corner. Triple H reversed a whip and hit a hard back elbow to the chest. Shawn tackled Triple H and hit a series of punches. Triple H kept throwing Shawn through the ropes, but Shawn would run back in and tackle Triple H. Finally, Michaels was sent hard over the top rope to the floor. Triple H missed a punch on the floor and hit the steel mesh. Back in the ring, Michaels hit a neckbreaker for a one count. Michaels delivered some chops and punches, but Triple H grabbed Michaels' tights and sent him through the ropes to the floor. Triple H followed Michaels out, and Michaels rammed Triple H headfirst into the steel. Back in the ring, Michaels hit a chop, and we saw that Triple H was bleeding slightly from the head. Michaels punched at his head, and dropped a pair of fistdrops. Michaels ran into a Triple H boot, and was tossed over the top rope to the floor again at the five minute mark.
Outside, Michaels slugged it out with Triple H, then whipped him face first into the Cell wall. Michaels rammed Triple H headfirst into the mesh, and then back in the ring Michaels stomped Triple H in the side of the face. Michaels hit a series of punches in the corner. Triple H went for a reverse atomic drop, but Michaels slugged him down. Michaels clotheslined Triple H to the floor, but was walking funny from the attempted reverse atomic drop by Triple H. Micahels went for a suplex, but his back was hurting, and he couldn't get him over. Triple H whipped Michaels hard into the corner, and Michaels fell to the mat. Triple H whipped Michaels hard into the corner again, and stomped Michaels' back. Triple H hit a side backbreaker, then an extended vertical suplex. Triple H covered Michaels for a two count. Triple H stomped the back of Michaels and hit another side backbreaker for a two count at the ten minute mark.
Triple H went under the ring and got a steel chair, which he set up in the ring. Triple H went to lift Michaels, but Michaels flipped over him and hit some right hands. Triple H kneed Michaels, then went for a chairshot, but Michaels avoided it with a series of kicks and punches, then flung Triple H to the floor. Shawn went to the apron and jumped off at Triple H with a double axhandle, but Triple H caught him with a shot to the gut. Triple H lifted Michaels and alternated between ramming him into the corner of the cell and the ringpost. Triple H whipped Michaels backfirst into the Cell, then decked him with a right hand. Triple H whipped him into the cage wall again, then tossed him back into the ring. Triple H hit a side slam on the folded chair in the ring, and got a two count. Triple H set up the chair in the ring, and Michaels fired off a few punches, but Triple H scooped him up into a side slam on the seat of the set up chair. Triple H got a paid of two counts, then hit Michaels with a chairshot across the back at the fifteen minute mark for a two count.
Shawn fired off some weak punches to the gut, but Triple H went for an abdominal stretch. They both tried to reverse the move on the other, until Michaels hiptossed Triple H over the top rope and to the floor. Michaels tried to shoulderblock Triple H on the apron, but Triple H hit a kneelift. Back in the ring, they traded punches, and Michaels went for a backdrop, but Triple H put on the breaks and went for the Pedigree. Michaels blocked it and hit Triple H with a lowblow. Michaels hit a pair of reverse atomic drops, then decked him with a right hand. Michaels hit a clothesline in the corner and got a two count. Michaels hit a jumping knee to the back, and Triple H fell through the ropes to the floor. Michaels whipped Triple H into the cage, then told the camera man to move, as he whipped Triple H across the floor and into the ringsteps. Michaels separated the sections of the steps, and went for a piledriver on the bottom section, but Triple H backdropped Michaels on the floor. Triple H went under the ring for another chair, and blasted Michaels across the back with it in the ring. Triple H went and tossed the top section of the ringsteps into the ring. Michaels kicked Triple H in the gut to avoid a steps shot, and hit a flying forearm at the twenty minute mark.
Michaels kipped up, but then stumbled, favoring his back. He went for the superkick, but Triple H ducked it, picked up the ringsteps section, and blasted Michaels in the head with it. Michaels was soon wearing the crimson mask. Triple H measured Michaels and blasted him with the steps again, then tossed the steps to ringside. Triple H covered Michaels twice, but only got two counts. Triple H hit a series of rights, then tossed Michaels to the floor. Triple H picked up Shawn and said "You want Hell?" before throwing him into the Cell wall twice. Triple H put Shawn over his shoulder and rammed him face first into the steel mesh. Triple H raked Michaels' face across the mesh at the twenty five minute mark.
Triple H rubbed Michaels face across the ringsteps and tossed him back into the ring. Triple H hit a spinebuster for a two count. Michaels fired off some punches and chops, but Triple H hit a knee to the gut and applied a sleeperhold. Michaels rammed Triple H into the buckles to escape. Triple H went for the Pedigree after a kick to the gut, but Michaels reversed it into a DDT. Both men were down, and Shawn crawled to the chair that was in the ring. Shawn blasted Triple H with a chairshot to the head, and Triple H soon had a new (and nastier) cut on his forehead. Michaels hit a second chairshot to the head, and draped an arm over Triple H for a two count. Shawn went for a backdrop, but Triple H hit a facebuster to the knee. Michaels rolled from the ring, and as he got up, pulled a ladder from under the ring. Michaels had a smile on his face and be brought the ladder into the ring. Triple H was slumped against the ropes and got up, turned and was blasted in the face with the ladder at the thirty minute mark.
Michaels rammed the ladder into Triple H's gut twice, then set it up in a corner and whipped Triple H into it. Michaels whipped Triple into the ladder again, then kicked him hard in the gut. Shawn whipped him into the ladder again, and this time Triple H went over the top rope and to the floor as he smashed into the ladder. Michaels went after him, and rubbed his face across the steel, then hit a series of punches. Michaels dove off the apron and hit a double axhandle, then whipped Triple H into the cage. Back in the ring, Michaels set up the ladder again, but Triple H tried to grab Michaels for a Pedigree. Michaels tripped out of it and hit a catapult, sending Triple H into the ladder for a two count. Michaels slammed Triple H and went to the top rope. Michaels missed the elbowdrop at the thirty-five minute mark.
Both men were down, and Triple H crawled onto Michaels for a two count. The two began trading punches on their knees, with Michaels getting the better of it, but collapsing to the mat as Triple H fell over. Michaels draped an arm on Triple H for a two count. They got to their feet, and Michaels hit some punches, but Triple H hit a knee to the gut and tossed Michaels shoulder first into the ringpost. Triple H went under the ring, and pulled out a table. Triple H set it up in the ring, but Michaels caught him with a pair of chops and a series of right hands. Michaels picked up Triple H and rolled him onto the table. Michaels set up the ladder, and climbed up. Michaels hit a elbowdrop off the ladder (as high as he could climb in in the cell), putting Triple H through the table at the forty minute mark.
Michaels draped an arm on Triple H for a two count, then put his whole body across him for another two count. Michaels started a slow stomp in the corner for Sweet Chin Music, but Triple H dropped down as Michaels attempted the superkick and hit a low blow. Triple H hit the Pedigree, but was slow to cover. He draped an arm over Michaels, but Michaels kicked out at two, bringing the crowd (which had died down a lot) back into it. They struggled to their feet, clutching at each other. Triple H shoved Michaels back, and Michaels hit a superkick, then collapsed. Michaels crawled over and draped an arm on Triple H for a two count. They struggled up again, and Triple H hit a knee to the gut. Triple H hit another Pedigree, but collapsed to the mat himself at the forty five minute mark.
The fans started a "HBK" chant as both men were laid out on the mat, and both men slowly crawled towards each other. As they rose up, Triple H went for another Pedigree, and hit it. Triple H slowly rolled onto Michaels and got the three count at the 47:26 mark (Ross announced the match time).
Post-match, both men were laid out in the ring, hardly moving. Evolution came out and checked on Triple H (Flair also said something to Michaels, pointing a finger in his face). Triple H was rolled from the ring by Evolution, and walked out of the Cell, with Batista and Flair half-carrying him up the ramp. Triple H's music ended, and Michaels was still laid out in the ring. The referee was checking on him, but no one else came out. Michaels slowly started to roll over, and the fans applauded him as he got to his feet. They played Michaels's music, as he dropped back to his knees. Michaels shook the hand of the referee, and slowly got back to his feet to acknowledge the fans as the show ended.
