A lot has been said of which match will close Wrestlemania, but to me, a title match should always close the show. Has there been any Wrestlemanias where a WWE/World/Undisputed/WWF Title match didn't close the PPV?
It's happened three times. At Wrestlemania 1, Hulk Hogan & Mr. T vs. Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorff in a tag match closed the show, so Hogan didn't defend the WWF Title. At Wrestlemania 8, Hulk Hogan vs. Sid Justice closed the show, while WWF Champion Ric Flair vs. Randy Savage, which was promoted as a co-main event, went earlier in the show. Wrestlemania 11, again promoted with a "double main event", closed with Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam Bigelow, with World Champion Diesel vs. Shawn Michaels going on right before it.
Any chance that WWE will bring in Jeff Hardy for Wrestlemania, without pay, anyway, just to please his fans?
Highly, HIGHLY, doubtful. Put it this way, don't spend $55 expecting to see him.
Is there any timetable for Jeff Jarrett to return to the ring? I'm shocked that he hasn't appeared again yet.
From what I've been told, there are no plans for Jarrett to come back to the ring at this time. To his credit, he has decided to concentrate on his work behind-the-scenes, rather than pushing himself as the top performer in the company.
If Sting wanted to attend the Hall Of Fame ceremony, just to be there for Flair's induction, do you think TNA would have a problem with it? Would WWE?
Honestly, I don't think either side would have an issue with it. As long as Sting didn't show up wearing a TNA T-Shirt or holding up a big sign plugging the next TNA PPV, I think WWE would be fine with him attending. Doesn't mean it is going to happen, though.
Do you think we'll see any "surprise appearances" at Wrestlemania? I popped huge for Slick showing up during last year's PPV.
I'm sure WWE will have a surprise or two, as they usually do. I popped for Slick's appearance as well, although they really should have dug out "Jive Soul Bro" for his appearance backstage.
