Is Chris Harris the older or younger brother of Ron & Don?
No, he is not related to the Harris Twins.
Has there ever, ever been any suggestion of TNA president Dixie Carter actually wrestling in a match like Stephanie McMahon?
Nope. Well, only if someone was joking around in a TNA booking meeting one day. I give Carter a lot of credit for not putting herself on television like a lot of other owners would.
I remember reading once where women wrestlers were not allowed to wrestle in New York until sometime in the 70's. Is this true and, if so, why?
Indeed, it is true. Chalk it up to another dumb State Athletic Commission rule that was antiquated and needed to be taken off the books in New York (like the one banning masked wrestlers). When it was finally removed, The Fabulous Moolah defeated Vickie Williams in the first Women's match ever in Madison Square Garden on July 1, 1972.
Who was in the tag team The New Breed in the old NWA and whatever happened to them?
The New Breed were Chris Champion & Sean Royal. Their NWA run was cut short due to Royal suffering an arm injury. Royal ended up retiring soon after and went into the construction business. Champion later revamped his look and had a brief run in WCW as Yoshi Kwan.
You're probably not big fans of "what-if" questions, but I've been thinking about this one. Had Triple H not torn his quad in 2001, do you think that the Invasion angle would have been handled totally differently. The week after Triple H injured himself, Lance Storm interfered in a match, which was the first WCW presence on Raw. Was this the plan all along, or was this just rushed booking? Also, if Triple H was still around, do you think Stephanie would have been placed as the ECW owner? It always seemed that she became the ECW owner because she didn't have any other spot on TV.
You're right, I'm not a big fan of "what if" questions. In all honesty though, I don't think Triple H being involved would have made that much of a difference in how the Invasion was handled. Sure, some matches would have been different, but in the end, Vince McMahon would have felt the need to "supplement" the WCW/ECW roster with WWF performers, and the Alliance would have been crushed just the same.
