I don't think it's out of the question that Shane McMahon will be back in the ring down the line, but he's currently focusing on his behind the scenes executive duties.
I was looking at the list that Mike posted of possible (or maybe actual) DVD releases for WWE next year and I was wondering why would WWE want to release a Bobby Lashley DVD? What has he done in WWE except win the ECW title in the infamous first December to Dismember and used his strength to throw the Big Show in one of the Royal Rumbles (sorry I can't remember which one) ala the British Bulldog and he also looked very "big." Is there some sort of big push for him in 2008?
While plans for the DVD went out the window with Lashley asking for his release from the company, WWE did intend to put together and release a DVD based on his 2007 run, feeling that with his push, there was enough material that fans would be interested in purchasing a collection bookended by a documentary look at Lashley's career.
What, if any, is the relationship between Jeff and Matt? I see Jeff skyrocketing, but Matt is once again injured and looks lost now that MVP seems to be moving on to his next program. Is their any animosity between the two now that Jeff looks ready for a World Champion run? The WWE has always played up the close relationship that the brothers have, but now Jeff seems to be over shadowing his brother, does that strain the relationship or are they truly close brothers that support each other?
The Hardys' respective successes have never caused a strain between the two. If anything, they've remained close and have supported the other in their respective careers. While I am sure like any other pair of brothers, they have had their differences, I've never heard of them having problems because one was being pushed and the other wasn't.
There's an article on the TNA site saying that Christopher Daniels has been
released from TNA. Is this true or is it a storyline?
It's a storyline release. Daniels is working under a mask as Curry Man for the company.
Johnny Devine has a scar on his stomach. I'm curious what the story is behind that scar?
On 9/26/04, Devine and Andy Douglas were leaving a Nashville bar when they were involved in an incident that saw both stabbed by an assailant. Devine was stabbed in the stomach, and his gallbladder was removed as a result. He was sidelined for six weeks while recuperating, returned to the ring and was then out of the ring again after needing additional surgery. The scar is from the surgery.
