PWINSIDER Q&A: HOW LONG HAS ROCK BEEN GONE?, TRIPLE H AS A WOMAN?, GREAT KHALI AND MORE

How long has The Rock been away from the WWE and, if he continues full time with his film career and away from wrestling, when do you think I'll be before he is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

Rock's last live appearance on a WWE show was in August of 2004 when he was involved in a Diva Search segment and then had an impromptu battle with Tajiri & Rhyno against Jonathan Coachman & La Resistance.  He did a pretaped bit hyping the "Battle Of The Billionaires" for Raw last year, but that is it.  I don't see him going into the Hall Of Fame for at least another 10-15 years, simply due to his age and the fact that a certain amount of time needs to pass since his prime before considering him for induction.

Hi I was just rewatching Cena's return at the Royal Rumble. I know his return was a secret from the general public. Did the other wrestlers know he was coming back? Did Triple H? The look on H's face seemed to indicate he was shocked himself (or his acting lessons have paid off). Did the announcers know? Did you?

A number of wrestlers did not know Cena was returning until this saw him backstage at the show, prior to his return.  Obviously, Triple H knew, so credit his acting wrestlers.  I would imagine the announcers knew, or at the very least were told to keep quiet and not ruin the surprise during the "pause" before the music started.  I was live at Madison Square Garden for the Rumble, and had no clue Cena was returning that night. It was a great surprise.

My cousins and I are in an argument right now. They are telling me that Triple H years ago dressed up as a woman and won the WWE (I believe it was WWF back then) Women's championship. I say he never did that. Can you let us know who is correct?

Your cousins are screwing with you.  It never happened.  Well, not yet anyway!

If WWE owns the rights to all AWA tapes, what can ESPN possibly be showing?

From what I understand, ESPN has "rebroadcast rights" to pretty much anything that has ever aired on their network.  It is something they work into their original agreements when they show something.  So, while they can't release a DVD of any AWA episodes in their library, they can rebroadcast them as often as they would like, regardless of who owns the AWA footage now.

If Finley smacked Great Khali in the head would it be called a Khaliflower ear?

Yes.
