PWINSIDER Q&A: FUTURE OF CURRENT TV SHOWS, WRESTLEMANIA OUTSIDE THE U.S., KENNEDY-MVP AND MORE

I've been trying to keep up with all the major pro wrestling shows that still exist and it made me start thinking about the development that these shows went through over the past years. And that's, what my question revolves around: Where do you see RAW, Smackdown!, ECW and Impact! at the end of the year, if they keep up their respective momentary direction?

In the case of Raw, I don't see it changing much at all.  It will continue to be WWE's flagship show, it will stay on the USA Network, and it will continue to devote the majority of it's airtime to a small handful of stars, without ever really developing the undercard wrestler's storylines.  Smackdown will be settling into a new network, and will probably continue to be the best WWE program from an in-ring standpoint, as well as having better storylines when it comes to their undercard players.  ECW is in a state of flux, since it recently underwent a massive creative change, so it will be interesting to see where that show is by the end of the year.  As for TNA Impact, I expect them to continue their two hour presentation on Spike TV on Thursdays, and continue to frustrate many fans by showing flashes of brilliance while putting far too many talented wrestlers into convoluted storylines that take away from the in-ring work.

What is the possibility of future Wrestlemanias taking place outside the United States to such countries as Puerto Rico, Mexico or Canada?

Of the three you mentioned, I see Canada as having the best shot, specifically Toronto, which has hosted two Wrestlemanias in the past.  However, they are just now returning to Canada after the Benoit Tragedy, so it may be a while before the big event returns to that country.  In all honesty, WWE wants to make as much money as possible with the event, so Wrestlemania will always end up somewhere that WWE can charge high ticket prices.

What is the possibility of a three way match at Wrestlemania 24 for the WWE women's championship between current champion Beth Phoenix going up against Mickie James and Victoria?

There's always a possibility, but it seems like WWE is gearing up more for another singles match between James and Phoenix.  Personally, I'd like to see Victoria and Phoenix have a one-on-one match, and then maybe go with a three-way down the road.

Has Ivory (Tina Morretti) retired from wrestling?

I don't believe she has "officially" retired, but she certainly is less active now.  Last time I recall seeing her name on any indy shows were some events in Canada several months ago.

What if Kennedy bumps into MVP at No Way Out. Kennedy tells Porter "I'll do what you couldn't do after two tries. Retire Flair." "You'll only retire him by taking advantage of what I did to his ankle already." Later that night MVP interferes in the match causing Flair to win and Kennedy to get disqualified. This sets up a match between Kennedy and MVP on Smack Down.

It's an interesting scenario, although I don't know if I would want to turn either man babyface, and historically fans don't show a lot of interest in heel vs. heel matches.
