PWINSIDER Q&A: WRESTLING ON THE RADIO, EDUCATING FANS AT THE HALL OF FAME, PUNJABI PRISON AND MORE

Since Vince likes to repeat himself with a lot of what happens in WWE, do you see Big Show returning this Monday on Raw during the steel cage match against Hornswoggle, just like he did when he debuted with the company?

I guess it is a possibility, since Big Show has to return at some point, but the idea that Vince would need Big Show's help to beat Hornswoggle is pretty ridiculous, and a waste of what should be a big return by a former top star. Then again, Big Show vs. Finlay could be an interesting match.

When I was young, the Monday night cards in Memphis were broadcast on the radio. Obviously not the ideal situation for wrestling but better than nothing. With the expansion of satellite radio do you think WWE or TNA would ever consider tying in with them to broadcast shows either live or tape delayed for people who aren't getting the PPV's? I don't think it would hurt buyrates as people who were gonna buy it aren't gonna not buy it to listen on the radio.

Honestly, I don't see it happening.  Wrestling is best enjoyed in a visual medium.  I think a TNA or WWE satellite radio show with interviews, hype, etc. would be an interesting venture, but I don't see either company doing audio broadcasts of their events the way a football or baseball game is presented.

Over the last few years I've heard you guys say WWE should somehow educate the fans who attend the Hall of Fame to show some respect. Do you think all fans should dress smart as advised or do you think this is unfair on the fans? Also how do you think WWE should educate the fans to show some respect during the show?

I actually don't think any fans should attend the Hall Of Fame at all.  I think it should be strictly for the wrestlers, their families and their invited guests.  Yes, I know I am in the minority with that opinion.  I don't think there is anything wrong with having a minimal dress code for the event, as it should be a classy affair, not "just another wrestling event".  Besides, if a fan can afford the cost of the ticket to the Hall Of Fame, they can spring for at least a polo shirt and a pair of slacks. As for educating the fans, there's not a lot that can be done, other than discouraging rowdy behavior when people are speaking at the podium.  I should say that I think the majority of fans who have attended the Hall Of Fame in recent years have acted appropriately.  There's just always a knucklehead (or two) that insist on making a spectacle of their presence at the event.

Hey guys, I have a question I've always wondered. When announcers are calling a TV or PPV match, do they have a shot sheet or something similar to go off of, or do they 100% shoot from the hip?

They are shooting from the hip when it comes to moves in the ring.  If a wrestler is debuting a new finisher, they may let the announcers know the name of it in advance, but otherwise it is the announcers using their knowledge to call the moves.

Who invented the Punjabi Prison match? And why did they have a 2nd match after the first one was so bad?

WWE Creative invented it, and I am going to guess that since they spent the money to build the cage, they decided to try and get more use out of it.  The concept might actually work, if WWE were to put wrestlers in there that are a bit faster than Big Show and Great Khali.
